Grab him by the ears and make him listen... there must be complete silence in the room and he must only hear you speaking !
YES I am serious ! I have done this with great results...
In the romance department : I also mention to him " it either comes up or it comes off" works every time !!!
Telling him point blank is the best way..don't give subtle hints ...He's a man for gods sake... he would miss a nuclear Holocaust if a good game was on tv or a pretty woman walked by... get my drift ?
Best wishes with this ! : )

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. The only way I get affection is to actually go and get. If your hubby is not one to give affection he's not going to change this is 3 years talking. Good luck.

Men just don't think like women. And they sure don't need the same intimate affection we do. Best thing to do is take a walk and start sharing how you feel. You have to get him out of the house away from the kids if you have them and that way he will really listen to you. Men don't do hints. They have no clue. Good luck.

i have this problem with my boyfriend right now. men hate hints...i would know this i have 3 brothers so i get it right from the source. they all tell me the be open and honest but without being demanding. Say something like i love when you touch me, I feel special when you hug me. That way you are not demanding and you are saying what you love while kind of asking for it...if that doens't motivate him then i dont know what will work?

Believe me I had this problem before and signs and guesses don't work with men...........they are clueless. You have to tell him how you feel and not wait around for him to guess that you want more affection.......It worked with my hubby.

my husband says more action ..... I say by example.... like if he is sick ... make chicken soup... if he has teeth pulled make sure he is confortable .... If his dad dies be there for himmmmm .. when he says ah I am going to go to the store and buy a kyack .. say ( if its not a million dollars out of your money) ok... But after talking a million times and he still doesnt get it ... tell him that you never give him grief.. your always there for him.;... But really men need to just learn it ... There not wired for this... unless to see some action ... Its like the dirty spot on there shirt... they dont see it unless you tell then its there.

Tell him 'I love it when you...' Really spell it out in black and white. Don't couch it in terms like 'you don't kiss me enough' or 'why do you never hug me anymore?' He'll hear that as nagging and switch off. But he'll respond well to being told he's great at doing something. ;)
