I have an ex that was there for me the other day as I was going through something extremly difficult in my relationship. The x's girlfriend actually talked me into a calm person agin. Wellthe ex tried to push up on me when the girl went to the store and I completly stopped it, and then today under the pretense of "checking on me " came to my office and actually said the words" this would not have happened if you were with me" and tried to deter me from seeing my other half tonight to go out with them. In previous years this person was always the one that I ran back to but I have been over that now forever and value our friendship. I have no problem putting them i thier place- but it bothered me because they are extremly attractive and during hard times things like that can be tempting. I am freinds with all of my ex's though and I think i souldnt be put in positions like that. What would you do?

This guy is obviously not over you, and you shouldn't allow him to think the way he's acting is ok. I know it's nice to be friends with your ex, but it's probably not worth it in the long run. Your current boyfriend might not appreciate it, and you won't appreciate it when he (the ex) is under the impression that you've still got a thing for him (even when that's not the case) and makes advances towards you because of that.

Oh, and if you're friends with his new girl, you should tell her about him being all creepy and rubbin' up against you.

Sounds to me like you already know what you want and where you're at with your ex's.

No, you shouldn't be put in that position, and I think you handled it just right. I wouldn't do anything different, except if this particular ex keeps pushing it, you may have to see less of him for a while until he gets the idea that his advances are not welcome.

As tempting as it is to run back to safe arms, I think you have the sense of self and courage to keep going forward as you already are.

I think you already know this, but it is nearly impossible to stay friends. One or the other is not over it and that always gets in the way.

I tried to stay friends a couple of times. It never worked out in the long run. I wasn't over it once, and she wasn't the other. You know he isn't and you telling him about it will get him to back off a while, but it will come back.

a million.i think of adult males stay in touch with their exes via fact they as quickly as enjoyed them or nonetheless like them, that is better to be associates than to hate somebody 2.confident 3. no if a guy is head over heels in love he shouldn't flirt with different women 4.yea that is irrelevant he would desire to purely see you as a buddy that they had solid emotions with you and prefer to stay touch reason they think of you're a brilliant man or woman and don't prefer to lose you

Speak to the Ex, clearly explain what you approve and disapprove as far as behavior is concerned and how much you would like to continue friendship. Hope he gets the message

Set boundaries. Now. It will better for you in the long run. You can appreciate what others have done for you, but you do NOT owe them your life.

They shouldn't be forcing you to put them in their place.

I'd just lay out the ruels for them, and go from there.
