Recently an old friend of my husband passed away. He left behind his fiance and baby girl. My husband hadn't talked to this friend for almost 5 years, no hard feelings, just out of touch. And he has never met his fiance. After attending his funeral, he asks me if we should open a $2000.00 Mutual Fund for the baby, to be accessed at 18 years of age. I had only met this friend once and am wary as they were out of touch for so long. I know his intentions are good, but is he driven by emotion? Is it a wise decision? Am I wrong for being apprehensive?

These are just some examples: clothing style, clothing brand, clothing condition, body, health, education, eye contact, posture, career, smile, religion, the way they treat others, etc... There are many more. I'm sure you can think of what goes through your mind when you see a person.

I try not to make judgments, just observations. People say I'm too nice to everybody and I give them more credit than they deserve. I just can't help thinking that there are explainations for the way people look and behave. Everyone has different backgrounds.

I feel that what makes a person better than me is intelligence. I feel inferior to another person that I think is more intelligent than I am.

Her personality is totally different from mine and basically, it's the kind of personality that repels me more than any other...add in that she's my boss and you have to be careful what you say, makes it even more difficult.

I have this friend who has a younger sister who has a temper issue. When she loses her temper, she has constant meltdowns.
My family and I think she has Bipolar disorder. However, she refuses to take any medications for this disorder. Anyhow, she moved out with her boyfriend a couple of weeks ago. However, sometimes she comes over to my friend's parents house. My friend still lives with her parents. My friend's sister and I had a fight. She started yelling at me and having a meltdown. She did not even apolize for her rude behavior. So, now we are not talking to eachother. But, we used to be friends. But frankly, I'm getting sick and tired of her constant yelling and meltdowns. So, I do not know if we ever can be friends again. Hoowever, I'm friends with her older sister. And, I know I'll see the younger sister at birthday partys or at my friend's parent's house, etc.
My question is what should I do if I do see her again? How should I handle my friend's sister?

Standing at the tops of escalators, blocking doorways, crawling along in the middle of the pavement so you can't walk past, painfully trying to work out how to operate ticket machines at rush hour, taking five minutes at the cash machine in lunch hour...

I just read an interesting question on here about tipping. I had read a survey once about tipping amongst races. It read that generally speaking, blacks and asians were the worst tippers, whites were the best followed by hispanics. Is there any credibility to this? Another survey, which has nothing to do with tipping read that the happiest people to the most miserable were in the following order: married men were the happiest, single women next, single men next and the most miserable were married women. What do you think of both these surveys?

Don't you know that an underpaid employee has to clean feeces off the floor whenever someone leaves a mess? If you don't want to clean up a mess like that then don't leave any type of substances on the wall or floor.

Women are always griping about how men don't put the seat down after using the john. I think it's just because they don't want to touch it. And most of the guys are pretty lazy about bathroom care. I say, everybody closes the whole thing--including the lid after using it. That way, everybody has the same burden, and the lid is down when it is flushed, preventing germs from spraying into the bathroom. What do you think?
