Well, she's your friend, so everything she does must not be annoying or nerve wracking. So, I would ask her if you could sit down and talk to her about something that is bothering you. Then tactfully tell her that this certain behavior or behaviors really bothers you. Explain how it makes you feel. Women generally respond to feelings more than anything, so knowing how it makes you feel will probably clue her in more about this behavior than anything else will. Reassure her that she's still your friend, you just wanted to let her know about this one thing so that it wouldn't affect your friendship. Tact and kindness will go a long way here towards not making her angry or depressed. It could help to listen to her explain why she behaves this way. There is usually an underlying reason. Then realize that it takes a while to change a behavior. If she's trying, give her credit for that and try to be patient while she adjusts her attitude. Maybe you could ask her if there's some little signal you could give her when she starts doing it, in case she does it without realizing it. Something that wouldn't be offensive to her. If she does react in a negative way to your talk, just wait it out. She'll most likely get over it. It may just take a little while. It's hard to hear that you aren't perfect. (-:

This is someone you call " your friend?"
If you really like this person, but sometimes she gets on your nerves, either ask yourself if you want to continue to be friends, and tell her when she annoys you- or look into yourself, and ask if it is really her issue or yours?
If this person is annoying to you all the time, then why are you friends?

sometimes people do annoy us. is not that they want to be like that...because i guess they really want to be helpful.
it always depends on their interest in the matter.
if there is something that would hurt you, than i would say to tell him/her plainly what you think of it. on the other hand, if you see that he/she wants the best for you, but it happens to be a little more insistent and annoying than try to be more delicate with that person. explain him that sometimes you want to make your own decisions, but appreciate his/her great concern for you.
