I have been chat friends with a man for several months and I traveled a long way to meet him, and now he is acting all weird, even though he knew what I looked like from pics, and knew what my personality was like from our conversations.

I went to a job interview today and stopped in a bathroom down the hall from where it was. As I was washing my hands, this guy opens and walks out of the shitter stall and heads straight out the door. He did not wash his hands after obviously taking a dump. This guy turns out to be the person who interviewed me. I refused to shake his hand or drink out of the coffee cup that he touched. I did not give an explanation. Am I wrong?

I will be moving away to go to college soon, at which time, I will be living in my own apartment, but I really need some things that I can't afford right now. My birthday is coming up too, so it seems really convenient to have someone throw a farewell/housewarming.birthday party/college shower... I'm sure that someone would be willing to do that for me, but I don't really know how to politely drop hints. It seems that it would be really impolite to just bluntly beg for one. How can I encourage this kind of event?

The first cleaning is rather expensive and the bi-weekly is up there too. Do you tip the workers (2-3 people) and if so how much?

It's a morning ceremony followed by a luncheon and then a dinner reception in the evening. Would a black evening type dress be appropriate for the evening reception?

Ok, here's what happened: I was walking down the street and saw this old lady that had a bucket of lollipops on a table. I walked by and took one, cherry flavor too! And she started yelling at me saying, "You have to pay a dollar for those!!! Give me a dollar!" I was like, "Hell no!" I ran off with lollipop in hand. Later my friend told me that she was collecting money for charity, to save trees or something like that. He said good that I did that because he hates trees. I feel bad for stealing the old lady's lollipop. Should I buy her a new bag of lollipops?

Would I take my kids to Mortons in Vienna, VA or to Blackies in DC...no...

Applebees...yes...

I went to this dive one morning...called Yorkshire in Manassas, VA...great food, just looks horrible...anyway, think home cooked Dennys......I took my kids for breakfast....perfectly kid legit...right???

My kids were chatting away with my husband and I and got excited because they had Belgian Waffles....not out of their chair excited, just talking to mom and dad real loud excited....right around the time I could tell them to lower it....this woman at the next table is like...."so much for my meal out....why do people have to bring children out to eat in public places....

This woman was sitting closest to my oldest child.... I told him to switch seats with me immediately... so I could be closest to her...

I swear, if she would have opened her mouth one more time, I would have landed in jail that day.

This was a mom & pops place..... I had every right to have my kids there.

When I was cleaning the men's room at the bus station, I found a pack of Juicy Fruit Gum in the urinal. It wasn't pre-chewed, like you may have thought from my question (that would be gross). It was still sealed and a little wet, but it smelled ok. Anyway, it tasted really salty. Could pee have actually seeped into the package, or do you think that there was something wrong with it and thats why someone threw it into the urinal?

About a week ago I posted a question regarding a co-worker of mine who loves to gossip. She has worked for our company a long time and knows everything about everyone. I began to realize she is ultra friendly because she's looking for the scoop. I now find her very insincere and am determined to stay away from her. I can already feel the cold shoulder as I have avoided visiting her office in well over a week - unusual for me because we used to talk daily. I am trying to refrain from gossiping about anybody in the office anymore...is it OK for me to just continue the "hi, how are you" small talk with her and simply leave it at that? She knows a lot about my personal life...won't she think it's weird when I stop telling her things?

At the firm's dinner, my boss, who is left handed, took my roll and butter and his was left for him the other side of his place. I really wanted to ask someone to pass it over but I bottled it and had no bread with my soup. I have nightmares about it- What do I do if it happens again next year?

My sister is a 15 months older then me. She was 19 and had an abortion. When I was pregnant the whole family told me what a discrase I was for getting pregnat before I was married. ( Earlier I had talked to a former room mate about the way I was being treated by my family, she broke down and told me my sister had an abortion when she was 19 and I with her So I knew this info. One night my brother in law went off on me for being so stupid and getting pregnant before I was married. My fiance left because of all my families crap and other things. My sister married a man for his job status and his money. No love. They are very well todo and have two children who have the best of everthing. They have everything a person could want, except love I guess. They are snoody and treat me like crap. They had a fourth of July celebration at there lake place, I was invited, and then invited the day the of the party. Should I throw in her face at least I had the guts to keep my child and not kill it?

I went shopping today and was standing looking for something on the shelves, and this lady pushes her buggy up, I started to move out of her way and she told me I was fine where I was at and then proceded to push her buggy between me and what I was looking at and stopped it there and left it then went back a few steps to look for something. I couldn't believe her, I just moved her buggy out of my way, continued looking then left.

What do you feel is the reason there has been such a decline in in etiquette and morals in the USA over the past half century?

I'm working to plan a wedding and in my researcha nd planning, I have heard some real horror stories about RUDE hosts and RUDE guests. Why doesn't anyone know how to conduct themselves anymore? It is so frustrating.

i am looking for a mentor. but im not looking for just any kind of mentor, i truely believe that scam artist and spy detectives are great mentors. they are proven to have outstanding wit and un surpassed cleverness. i believe that in the growing world today only people like that will survive. When i first read the story of Count Victor Lustic who sold the Effle tower for a million dollars i was hooked( by the way the tower did not belong to him). I'm an orphan so i really raised myself. I admire those advance in life by using there swift cleverness. i am looking for serious answers only if your not looking to be a mentor please leave me a site of related issue.. thank you ..
