Ok, here's what happened: I was walking down the street and saw this old lady that had a bucket of lollipops on a table. I walked by and took one, cherry flavor too! And she started yelling at me saying, "You have to pay a dollar for those!!! Give me a dollar!" I was like, "Hell no!" I ran off with lollipop in hand. Later my friend told me that she was collecting money for charity, to save trees or something like that. He said good that I did that because he hates trees. I feel bad for stealing the old lady's lollipop. Should I buy her a new bag of lollipops?

But then she didn't ask nicely. And I'm really not the type of person to be friendly and buy old people lollipops. It'll hurt my image.

People get over it. It was ten cent lollipop. If the lady was that worried she would have chased you down the street yelling lollipop thief go get him. How many of you have snuck grape from the produce isle, or a piece of bulk choc late, like a chocolate covered peanut. Or even grabbed a couple shelled peanuts to eat. and then you throw the shells back in with the shelled peanuts. the lollipop I am sure was not even a dime. Around here you get a huge bag for under two dollars. and as for saving the trees. did she not know that the lollio pop rapper is made from a tree, and the money she is collecting comes from a tree. when she wipes her a$$ does that not come from a tree. When she writes a letter, does that paper not come from a tree. The point is someone is trying to save trees buy given out penny suckers that have a wrapper on made from a tree. Well excuse me we have worse problems in the world then saving trees. There is a war going on with us soldiers and she wants to save a tree. she needs to get her $hit together. If I were you , I would walk buy again and see if you can sneak another or better yet. You set up a stand close to hers and you sell your lolli pops for ten cents and say your money is going to a homeless shelter. That will show her who is the boss...

The woman didn't talk very nice to you because you were a thief and you p**sed her off. You'd react the same way if it happened to you. Don't buy her a bag of lollipops, she doesn't need a lollipop, she needs money for her cause. You should approach her, tell her that you're the jerk who stole the lollipop, and apologize to her. It would be a nice gesture for you to also offer her a donation of a few bucks, and not take another lollipop. Shame on you!

You should buy her some new lollipops and make a nice donation. 10 or 20 bucks would be a nice gesture. Just go up to her and say "I feel bad for stealing your sucker the other day...so I got you these, and I'd like to make a donation. Do you forgive me"
If she says no, run...because she'll probably call the cops on you lol

oh, Maaaaan! That is as bad as stealing candy from a baby! Especially if she was doing it for charity! Your IMAGE???? What the devil are you trying to be--a gangsta?? Change your image, anyway! You thought she should have kindly asked you for the $ after you STOLE the candy?? Get real! If somebody stole your cool jacket would you yell at them or ask them kindly to give it back. You have a conscience, or you wouldn't have asked this question. Do the right thing, pay her. And if you have the 00's you could even apologize!!

I'd suggest you give her a dollar. Maybe two dollars to show her you regret what you did.
Although it was unintentional, how did you figure out what she had was for you to take for free? You made a mistake - honest one, but a mistake.
Since her aim is to sell the candy for money, buying the candy will put her to ZERO. Paying her for what you took will equalize your position. Paying her and dornating extra will show you care about yourself, and what you did.
And about the comments you added.
What do you mean, you are not that kind and it will hurt your image? You made a mistake - it is only right you'd correct it - whatever it takes.
Yes, she didn't ask nicely. She thought you stole it. How do you expect she'd react?

If this story is true, your an idiot.
If this story is false, you are still and idiot.
And for the record, you are a miserable excuse of a human being. Don't buy her replacement lollipops, go back and pay for the one you stole, idiot. And for the record, your friend isn't any better. Goes to show you that friends define who you are.

Any craft shop could sell Lollipop sticks as properly as luggage interior the candy/cake adorning isle. Poplular shops incorporate Joann, Michaels, and A.C. Moore. you ought to via them on line too, yet they're quite low fee in craft shops and that they arrive one hundred-2 hundred in line with bag for basically a pair dollars. you will get them in distinctive lengths, too!

Forget your image, buy her a bag of lollipops and offer to help collect money for her cause (if you believe in the cause)
