ROFL...now that is embarrassing!!! OMG! As a girl I think we expect it from guys so I would ONLY if it was an accident. If he gave me a dutch oven or totally rolled up the windows in the car and let it rip and then child safety locked them and laughed (yes my ex thought he WAS really funny) then I think I would have to NOT go on another date with him...given this is the first date and all....second...well hell anything goes right..jk. That sort of stuff doesn't come until later on in the relationship..ya know.
But in all honesty....you said it was an accident....we all have done embarrassing things on first dates or when we first start dating someone.
For instance (this is gross...it even grosses me out to this day and it was my shite too) I go out a date with this dude...it's like a 3 or so date. I have a really bad head cold and should have been in bed...but I really enjoyed his company and wanted to see him. So we're sitting at dinner and he's making me laugh and splow I shot a snot rocket right onto the table. NOW how embarrassing was that!! We dated for 2 yrs after that....that was the ex I was talking about in the other paragraph.

Of course. Farting is not a big deal. You can't say that you have never farted before. If one fart is going to keep you away from a girl, then you have something wrong with you.

Yes i would, you can't help your farts, maybe its the food you ate at your date :P lol...well if you accidently farted on your first date and the girl stopped dating you cos of that, how would you feel?? so i think its okay as far as she don't fart everytime she laugh :P

Sure, why not? Women are human...we fart, too. And burp. Sometimes you just can't help it. You did say it was an accident. If she was having a farting contest and cackling wildly, I'd reconsider going on a second date, but if it just slipped out, there was nothing she could do about it. Did she at least say excuse me?

It's bad etiquette not to ignore it and not continuing to see her!!!! What if it was you? Would you think that's shallow to dump someone for an accidental fart? Wow! I can't believe I just typed that word in a public place!

I personally find it quite disgusting when a woman farts, However it will happen sometimes.
I immeadiately let the woman know I don't like it and then she knows not to blow one in public/private on purpose. ( like us guys do ).
Sorry ladies we do have a double standard.

I wouldn't be dating a girl since I'm female...but you should continue to date her. We're all human and gas happens.
