can you back out and be the next in line again? Or is it 'yours' because you went in there? What if the next person thinks you made the mess?

I am used to doing everything on time. When i have an appointment even not the important one, I come always earlier than the scheduled time.

I have a friend who is very lucky for this timing system. She never go to any event on time even for her university exams. She always comes 5 minutes late than the time (if that is important activities, if it is not important then she can be 2 hours late!)..I don't know how she is in office now..

On the first half of my four years in high school, I was considered one of the most prim and proper girls. They respected me for it. In addition, they looked up to me as I did well in my academics and extra-curricular activities too. On the latter half, I was kind of influenced by my bisexual friends. That includes, having a relationship with a college girl on the same campus as mine. Eventually, it came as a shock to most of my classmates. That time I didn't care what they think, but my reputation was inevitably scarred.

If you were one of my classmates, what would you have think or said?

I consider myself an openminded person. But what's the deal with the 'violation' alerts from 'Yahoo Answers'? The question I answered had no curse words what so ever and I didn't even call the person any names! So, my question is, "Can you be booted from yahoo answers if your black?" I mean, if you have enough false complaints by racist users; eventually you'd be exiled. What do you think?

How do you remove the pieces of food in between your teeth...or gums when you are in a restaurant and somebody's talking to you and its not polite to stand up and go to the washroom. Do you gargle discreetly? Or cover ur mouth and run your tongue around your mouth?

My husband's grandmother offended me by telling me that my daughter and I were fat. Given that at the time my daughter was 13-months old and had just begun walking, yes she had baby fat, but come on. And me, well I am 5ft8" and 152lbs...I wouldnt exactly call that fat! What would you do? I am from Australia and they are from the southern US. I understand that you have to respect the elder generation, but dont you have to give respect to get it?

What is the most polite way to handle this? Outside of closing my eyes and pretending. That isn't an option. So, how can I respect myself and them at the same time?

I mean there are some cars that refuse to wait their turn and will speed up to the front and try to squeeze in front of the person there. If I am in that spot, I don't let them in. Am I supposed to? If I am to let people in, how many is too many?

Any comment whatsoever seems to feed the sick ego of these wackos, so I say we all stick together and stop commenting/answering in any way, shape or form.

The night after my school's prom, I was at a small afterparty with 6 of my friends. They were a mix or guys and girls. We were watching some dumb movie... I can't even remember what it was called, but I thought it was boring as hell.

I made some remark about how boring it was, and the guy sitting next to me (he's my friend,) tried to "kick" me from across the couch. I grabbed his leg before he actually kicked me. He tried to pull away, but we were all having fun.

He still had on his dress socks from the prom, and to "get him back" I pulled off his socks and I tickled the soles of his bare feet with my fingers. He was obviously very ticklish, because he fell backwards laughing and was trying to get away. I thought that it was hilarious. He was trying hard to pull away, and my friend threw me a hairbrush from across the room, which I tickled his feet with.

Once I let him go, he called me a lot of names, including "queer".

How was that queer? We were joking!
Why was he mad?

My grandfather passed away recently. Only my dad is attending the funeral. Would it be appropriate for me (a teen) to contribute traditional funeral music on CD to be played? If I was your kid, and I gave you a CD and told you to play it at the funeral, would you think of me as caring and thoughtful or inappropriate and rude? Please be honest.
