Why not? Some of the best family portraits I've seen have had the pets included. I would definitely have some of mine in the photos. (Can't have all because we have too many!)

Absolutely, I mean they are apart of your family. And should be included in the family picture. I have a cat and he is always in the family pictures and even in some home movies. It's so cute if you want to include your pet. I am never against the family picture with the family pet or pets.

Sure, I would really like that. I can't say I've ever seen it in a formal setting like in a studio picture, but in the woods or an outdoorsy picture, I think it's really nice!
