I have no idea why it was called that so I hope I don't offend anyone. If I did, please forgive me.

When you get to a red stop light, everyone jumps out of the car, goes around it once, and trades seats before the light changes to green.

Immediately after the attack, I was afraid to fly. I took a train up to Maryland the following June, thinking it was safer. On the traintracks outside of Virginia there was a bomb threat, it scared me. I have done alot of flying since then however, the tightest security was at Reagan International in DC. Two weeks ago, 2 young men from Egypt were arrested for carrying bomb making materials in the trunk of their car. There were students from University of South FL going to NC and got pulled over here locally for a traffic violation. Do you think the government or the press lets us know about the total extent of the threat here in America?

One truth I know is that men are grafted onto the end of the remote control but refuse to answer a telephone - why?

A man will compliment ANOTHER woman on her cooking as though she is his mother re-incarnated but barely manages to form a comprehendable soundbite when we cringingly crave praise for something we slaved over for hours - why?

When a man 'is tired' he makes no attempt at a diplomatic excuse in an attempt to negate feelings of insecurity for the other party - he just starts snoring regardless of subtle signals!
WHY???

you were scared to death? Then afterward thought "I must have been out of my mind".

I know firemen do it every day, I've seen them at work on the Calif. freeways many times.

Whats your way of dealing with unsolicited callers on the telephone?

Are the just 'doing a job' or are they intruding on your personal time and should be given short shrift?

Has anyone EVER bought/agreed to anything from a call like this?

Do you remember this cute simple story and it's message, I
recall the first time I head it in grade school! Do you think it should be a must to be read in schools of today?
I found an old copy several years ago and read it to each of my grand children. I read it still some times for my own enjoyment.

Every computer (PC) I use and thats been qiuite a lot over the past years, has its own little quirk or oddity, this works for a while then stops that works but not 100% (you have to bang that one on the left with the mouse. Oh just do a reboot .Press control Alt Delete, press escape and it opens the fire exit, Well you know what I mean IS it about time they made the damn things work so that you don't have to fly them by the seat of your pants. We should be able to switch them on and away we go. do you agree?

Not that it is MY FAVOURITE film - but I would loved to have seen OLIVER REED and GRACE KELLY in a remake of
LADY CHATTERLEYS LOVER!

There would be two incompatible people for the parts -but it would have stretched Grace Kelly's acting abilities I would have thought!

Not so Oliver Reed perhaps!

Or how about BOB HOSKINS AND BRENDA BLETHYN in
An Officer and a Gentleman?

We used to do it on holidays in Durban, go up to the cane fields and munch on the cane sticks. It tasted great.

Care to share one thing with us?
It won't go any further!

To get the ball rolling:

I often leave messages (nice ones!) in random books at the library for strangers to find ...... before you notify the authorities - they are ALWAYS funny, inspirational or thought provoking - NEVER offensive.

Now - care to confess anything?

to under wire bras. There were still padded bras out there which did not have underwires. And they were georgous and lacey etc. One brand was Lechaby (spelling?). I used to wear that brand only. Don't know what happened to it.

I'm not padded around the ribs, and I just hate those wires. They are so uncomfortable. I was also thinking, has the number of breast cancer cases increased since they brought them back?

I have spoken to a lot of women, young and old and they all seem to hate the underwiring as well.

Can anyone recommend a good community, city or town between South of San Francisco towards San Jose?
Our criteria is:
- good shuttle system (to senior center and hospital)
- low crime
- low traffic
- excellent senior center

The person will most likely want to live in a townhome (no assisted living required).
One city that seems to match is Foster City...any others?

I had a contract with the state of SC to watch my best friends son who has cerebral palsy and schitzophrenia. I have the necessary qualifications to take care of this 33 year old man. My best friends sister came down from GA. they had lost their home to due to foreclosure. The sister informed the state that she was down here. This inturn, made me lose my job. I went over there to give my final paperwork last wednesday. Since the state cuts the check on the first, I had giiven the paperwork to my friend to send it with her son to the Disability Board, since he goes there daily. Now, when I called the Disability Board, they said that they never received the paperwork. I called my friend and she said that "she forgot", now it is ANOTHER month before i can get paid. She did this LAST month and was upset that she had to pay me out of her pocket and wait to get reimbursed. Now she just bought another car, her job is on the line, she was put on probabtion, and I am out the money.
