Not that it is MY FAVOURITE film - but I would loved to have seen OLIVER REED and GRACE KELLY in a remake of
LADY CHATTERLEYS LOVER!

There would be two incompatible people for the parts -but it would have stretched Grace Kelly's acting abilities I would have thought!

Not so Oliver Reed perhaps!

Or how about BOB HOSKINS AND BRENDA BLETHYN in
An Officer and a Gentleman?

How about Jerry Lewis and Phyllis Diller in Scarlet O'Hara? And yes, turn it into a a raving comedy.

I don't have a favorite film. I did like Dr. Zhivago with
Omar Sharif, Julie Christie and Geraldine Chaplin.
I don't think I would re-cast this one. It's fine the way it
was. Sometimes remakes are'nt as good as the original.
Sometimes they are. Interesting question.

it would be hard to replace william powell, myrna loy or norma shearer.
