I have dark skin & think Dave Chapelle & Chris Rock are hillarious. My white husband likes Chris Rock but thinks Dave Chapelle & his over the top humour is not funny. He gets angry and says that dark skinned people can laugh & make jokes about themselves and white people,but when white people do they are called racists. Anyway ,I dont understand how anyone could think Dave Chapelle is not funny but I do think he has a point. My family laugh at jokes about any race & yet if a white person tells a racist joke It just doesnt seem as funny. Does anyone else think this is true? and am I a racist for thinking this? Please dont say racist jokes are offensive- I do already know that. I can take a joke & I think almost nothing is sacred for the sake of a good laugh- unless it is grotesque.

i would say the (in no particular order)
1)car= we cant live without it, the wheel was one thing but the care takes it to another level
2)laptop= portable and compact, perfect! (shame about battery life)
3) ipod= upto 80 gb of music....enough said!
4)AC/DC adapter= almost any power supply uses this sort of adapter....an amazing invention.
5) light bulb- who's afraid of the dark?
6) mobile phones- brill
7) tv- if used for the right reasons- then a great invention
8)the pen- no pen no shakespeare- no romeo or ruliet
9)tea- coz im drinking it now!
10) penicillin- saved so many lives

a few of them are a bit silly, but can you think of better ones?

My family lets exchange students live at our house. Currently we've had some from Japan and Korea. They've all been boys.
Whenever they come they seem to either treat my mom and I as a maid and seem to be afraid of my dad, but thye get along great with my brother. Currently, we have 2 Korean students living at out house. Fortunately they don't treat me like a maid. But if my dad is present they seem to be afraid of him. Like at the dinner table, if my dad is there they are on their best behavior and eat very lightly. But if my dad isn't there they pig out.
I'm Chinese but I was raised in the US with complete US manners and ideologies. My parents were raised in China but in places where they had already adapted to Western Ideologies.
Can someone explain their behavior to me? I want real sociological facts. No Stereotypes.

i feel a strong calling toward judaism, however i feel that i and my future children will be comepletely isolated. i'm also afraid of the conversion process i've heard it was very difficult and off putting. has anyone else converted? is a reform conversion easier emotionally?

When all the others races hate blacks too? How many times have you heard "No self respecting (Insert race) would date/marry black" I know black people hate to be reminded of the hatred against them, but it's time to open your eyes and see the truth and accept that there are those out there that ARE out to get you just cause of your race, this world is not all sun shine and loving happyness.

And for those that are upset and want to fuss at me, use something different that the "get over it" card. You all use the "get over it" card as much as people use the race card, when in truth, YOU are the one using the race card cause you only seem me as a complaining black, not the angry person that went through the hard side of life and see the truth as it is.

I am on the verge of telling my family and friends that I am a cross dresser and want to incorporate this in my everyday life. Therefore I want to be able to look my best when I start to go out in public.

I have played with makeup etc but can never quite get it right so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in giving me a hand or even just pointers. If not maybe you could recommend someone in my area?

it is OK to let my 12 year old boy read/see a magazine with semi nude?
My son and I were at a library reading for 2 hours and when we were leaving he ask me if he could show me a magazine(he was all red, too shy).

The magazine had this beautiful girls and it was sealed (plastic all over)
the name of magazine was FHM .
I have tell mim before that if he has ANY questions about ANY topic he must trust me or his dad, instead of "friends".
He asked me if I could buy it 4 him; I told him that I had to ask his dad 2. My husband did not answer me he just laugh(nicely).

i know its a weried question and honestly i hope i would his torture camps haugnt me. im part native american, possibly jewish but most likley not i have blue eyes and black hair but i was born with blonde hair but that only lasted a year. i dont really know what his maniac killing philophy was but just wondered. I mean they're already poor to begin with, what makes them think that it's smart to have 5 or 6 kids when they can barely take care of themselves? Doesn't this reinforce the notion that poor people are poor mostly because they're stupid? There are some exceptions to this but mainly I think poor people in developed countries are poor because of laziness and stupidity, which makes them think it's a good idea to pop out 6 kids when they're already poor as f*ck. I get stopped on the streets all the time asking if I am him.

He's about 10 years older than me, but I can certainly see the resemblance.

For those of you who don't know, he is the guy on The Shield.

I just don't know if this is considered a compliment though.

I am not as stocky as he is, but we have the same features, even the same eye color.

Okay. I am like, white, and I guess I have been always hvaing crushes on white guys. Not racist, but hey, they were what i was attracted too. Now this new thing...I am not into white guys anymore. I am into indian guys. Like, darkish skin, beautiful accents, thick black hair... I realyl wonder is this just a phase. I thought so....but now I'm not sure. I mean, I am currently in a relationship with Saavan, my bf, who I have been attracted to more then any white guy. I am definetly not racist to whites----I am white.
I am not trying to be racist to ANY race.
But what do you think. I suddenly think the indians are beautiful people..they're languages...traditions...........
