36% of users are underage and lie about their age on MySpace.com
17% are sexual predators
15% are people that SAY they are celebrities and really aren't
16% are commercial users
10% have 10 or less "friends"
5% actually are truthful of whom they actually are on there

Stats do NOT lie. All MySpace.com does is bring people together that don't really want to be in contact.

Does the question asker comprehend that if the Republicans and Tea social gathering were given each little thing they say they pick then the country might want to upward push up with pitch forks and torches and rigidity all of them into the sea? i have heard Tea social gathering say they pick to eliminate: a million) the minimum salary 2) unemployment advantages 3) social safe practices advantages And from their moves contained in the midterm election they have stated they pick: a million) authorities without duty 2) authorities that for the duration of consumer-friendly words speaks with its base 3) no regulations on Wall highway or coverage organizations or Banks All that could seem good to someone who's earning over $250,000 a three hundred and sixty 5 days. yet for some thing of the country it appears like the end of u . s . of america as they comprehend it. no longer a brighter day and a happier u . s . of america, yet a go back to the darkish a lengthy time period to a time u . s . of america has yet to understand. So the Beckites can keep up on backpacks of food and gold which will be worth no longer some thing yet a paperweight if we are living in a fascist militaristic state, yet i am going to go out and get some pitchforks and torches. Tar and feathers too only for good degree.

there are a lot of things that are bad for people, but that does not mean the government should "shut it down" and tell us all what to do. even liars have freedom of speech.

besides I'm only friends with people I know already on myspace so I don't care how many liars are on there.

People don't have to be in contact with certain people if they don't want to. That's the whole point of setting you page to private. People are going to do what they want to do, whether you like it or not. I'm on myspace and I don't think it's bad. People have a choice on giving out information. If people don't want to be looked up or found, then they don't need to put the information on there.

It's just another way to be social...It's the Internet don't take it that serious...for the underage people on there that's their parents fault...for the sexual predators all I have to say is don't meet anyone in person...its just a website I know about 7 different website that are just like that.

So, in your logic, the GOV should control the net? Well, then you would be OK with them telling you what color clothes to wear? Or what to eat?

WOW! You should be in the MIL! That is EXACTLY why I got OUT! But, seems to me you NEED a control freak to run your life, so join today! :)

Also, for the record, I am not on myspace, nor do I disagree with what you are saying in full, but when you say the GOV should step in, well, you pushed one of my buttons. :)

Who cares about whats bad. If its bad don't do it. Let people do what they want, its freedom of speech. Don't like it? Move to N. Korea. But first read "1984" by George Orwell and ask yourself if this is the kind of sick society you want to live in.

When the Goverment stops reading all of our emails, to protect us, you know, and stops asking my Publivc Library what books did I read over my life, for our protection you know, and when they stop building fantasy fences to stop fantasy ilegals from becomeing president, and they will one day! you know, then maybe then the NSA,CIA,FEMA and every other Goverment Agencey that we have no use for and no need of can feed the poor, house the homless, teach the children how to read, take care of the Veterans that have served and close MySpace becuase it is Un-American.

Hopefully never. The government should stay out of how we live our day to day lives. It already has too much power and spends our money on stupid things.
