In "Curious George Finds A Job", George escapes from the zoo then proceeds to take on a series of menial jobs. The man in the yellow hat dresses in a style akin to that of colonial masters, and George is supposed to operate under his direction. But George is "just too curious" to do what the man in the yellow hat tells him.

What are your thoughts on this matter?

What should I do if the person I am job shadowing has sort of that axcent(sp?) where when they speak english it's kind of hard to understand them. I'm not racist...I have many friends that are hispanic but you know how there are some people who have sort of that spanish axcent with what they say and it's sort of hard to understand them. I'm going to feel stupid if I can't understand what he or she is saying for my job shadowing opprotunity(sp?)_

I am an Asian male in college. I have dated some Caucasian and latina girls in the past two years. I am actually a proponent of interracial dating, and I honestly find interracial dating more pleasant than dating girls of my race. My parents don't understand this though. They always assume that I will get a Korean wife in the future. It pisses me off so much that they narrow down the range of choice "for my own good." I just don't see why parents can't tolerate interracial dating/marriage. This is what my mama once said:

"Even if you fall in love with a white girl, I don't think anyone will approve of the relationship. First of all, white folks don't want their daughters to marry Asian boys. Secondly, your children will blame you for making them mongrels. And the cultural differences between you and your wife will aggravate the situation."

She's prolly right to a great extent, but I still am offended by the way they think. I don't really believe in racial purity.

im black (not that it matters but a lot of ppl stereotype) and this is my least favorite kind of music. i think that a lot of it is sending a negative message to our generaation (im 17) but on the other hand most mainstream genres of music give off some kind of negative messages they just arent as forward as rap.(i listen to pretty much everything s i know) i do understand that rap is an expression of the average minority's experience in the ghettos of america and their struggles, concerns, etc. ive heard so many ppl put down rap music saying "all black rappres do iis get high and get hos" well...a lot of other ppl might say"white ppl listen to rock music and get drunk all the timme." sterotypes are over rated. anyway. do you like it or not? just try to appreciate all music seeing as rap/hip hop/ r and b stem from the same origins as rock music.

The other day there was a drug check at my school. I didnt wanna get caught with the herb so i ate it and in P.E i was trippin and from then on i was loaded for the rest of the day. Then i got home and passed out. so why do people say you cant get hight from eating weed ?

This is one example of the way islam seems to be the opposite of civilization. Is it a fantasy to think that peace is possible? If so, how? If not, what is the solution?
