It's sad the girls don't get as much as boys, and I am with Oprah 100% on that project, but by her accusations on whites, that was totally uncalled for.

I am a Black female.
There are many different shades and colors of Black people. It is a beautiful concept- God has created all of us to be unique and attractive in our own way. (He's God and he probably knows what he's doing.)
But it irritates me beyond belief when somebody (especially a Black person) says that he or she refuses to date or associate with a Black who is the wrong complexion. Doesn't that sound like self-hatred.
Anyways, I know that this is starting to sound kind of like a rant, but here's my question.
Has anybody else ever observed this problem or is it just me?

I just answered a question that referred to "you white racists". That makes me so angry! Why is it white people are the only racist ones as far as any other race is concerned? In my eyes, if you are generalizing a race as anything, isn't that racism? I'm just so sick of having to constantly pay for things that happened in the past, things people around today didn't have to deal with but are taking out on us as if revenge for their ancestors, when really, we're so racially mixed, you really don't know if someone is white, black, indian, or some other descendant. How long are we gonna have to throw racism around? At this rate, it will never go away.

It's hilarious to log onto answers.yahoo.com and see many nameless / faceless (need a choice of word for something less than people... fill in the blank), criticizing people of varied cultures and races, primarily Blacks. Outside of this electronic facade you would never have the courage to ask the silly little questions or make such blatant, derogatory statements. Many of those statements sound as though they are being made by snotty nose 12 year olds on mommy's and daddy's computer. What's sad is I'm sure many of you are much older.

If you are racist, show your faces and tell us who you are. I actually began showing mine after responding to the first lame, racist question/comment so that the cowards can see just who's responding to them. In fact, I think I'll go search for a close up.

I have a question for all of those who want to know why black women name their children weird names. Whats it to ya. Furthermore I'm asking for all those with so called weird names, my first and middle name are quite common for "white girls" I was told that I have a white girls name growing up. My chose not to name their children those so called "weird names" but for all the families and black women and men who chose to WHAT'S IT TO YOU! You can still name your daughters Brittany, and Jennifer, and Courtney, Jessica, Apple, and Chanel, and Melissa. Two of those names listed are mine. But like I said I have "white girl" names.

Even some good questions end up receiving racist remarks. One person wrote in response to a question of why aren't the KKK considered a terrorist group, that if they are terrorist then so are the Black Panther Party. The Black Panther Party was about defending themselves. I want to know hoow long would it have taken some of your RACIST whites to defend yourselves. And to what extent would you have gone to protect your mothers, wives, and children?

Why do many black females name their kids the weirdest names? I mean, "Karmesha", etc...And the apostrophes? "Shar`mee"? And the misspelled names like "Ashlee", "Tam`ra", etc?

Is it the need to come up with a unique name or is there something else I am not aware of?

am i a racist if i think people in or around rap music are worthless, and a waste of space. is that bad, i really hate ignorance and they just keep playing into this stereotype, everytime i see a rap video or hear them talk i laugh and kinda get sick. everything they believe in is a waste of time, diamonds money bitches and alchohol, its all so pointless and fake.

Whenever an entrepeneur donates money to a worthy cause here in America and they are white, they are strongly cohersed into donating it to an "urban" development project. Well, why can't we expect that someone of Oprah's stature donate to a benfit that will benefit "suburban" develpment. There are a large number of poor white, asian, and children other than black that are suffering and I don't see anybody saying anything about it. I know it wouldn't P.C. to, but come on, I don['t want my kids growning thnking that they have to ashamed of being white. Especially since it's not their fault.
