Never step away from what you believe. Always be true to yourself and your convictions. Pretending to be something you are not will not bring true rewards. Who needs the approval from those who think/believe differently than you? Believe in yourself and walk proudly!

YES, I think it's fair that you get slated so much. You've earned it. I have read some of your questions and answers, and personally, I think that you come across as immature, ignorant and condescending regarding your often inaccurate "facts". You think that calling people names is a "brave" opinion? Right. How truly sad. I'm wondering why you seem to think that "telling the truth" or "giving your opinion" can't be done politely, respectfully and with tact? It has nothing to do with bravery. I wouldn't be too worried about people not liking you (though, you sure sound like you care). However, you might want to consider working on your grammar and spelling a bit more, but that's just MY opinion, and I'm big enough to say it.

depends on whether you are talking about your anseres on Yahoo or whether it is face to face. Yahoo does operate a policy which, sometimes, doesn't make sense and you get violations or thumbs down for speaking the truth. Oh well, that's just the way it works here.
But if you are talking about how you speak to people face to face - well that's different. Most people SAY that they would like honesty but actually what they want is tact. Most people really don't want the brutal truth about their own faults, and good manners always dictates that you try to deal with people politely and as you would want to be treated yourself.

It would be nice if everyone said how they feel. The World has gone mad with Political Correctness which has dumbed down everything so much that there's just too much tension around. No wonder the World is falling apart and there's wars and religious tension. Say as you feel - you only live once and people will appreciate it!
I know I do!

No its not fair - keep saying what you believe. Too often people get called a Bigot, racist, homophobe etc. on here simply for expressing a point of view or honest opinion. Just because someone doesn't agree with you it doesn't make them right and you wrong. They are just ignorant pr1cks who wish to suppress any-ones opinion which is different to their own.

If you are going out of your way to annoy people, then you should expect to get slated. Its not brave to sit behind a computer and spout rubbish, knowing you are anonymous, it would be brave (or stupid) to actually confront people face to face and express your warped opinions.

no longer particular what you advise "straightforward". straightforward relies upon on what her husband's income become, I advise he's a prosperous guy, probable doesn't omit $50M yet often in a divorce the money is going for the toddler. a lady receives alimony provided that she had no income or pastime of her own and Heather does have a occupation of her own. yet probable their tax device might want to take 0.5 of that, and that i do not comprehend if $25M might want to keep that kid contained in the variety she is acquainted with (probable had a brilliant homestead, nanny, outfits, toys, practise, transportation) and that i'm particular McCartney might want to desire his toddler to keep living in luxury. i'm no longer particular if the courts might want to enable Heather to revisit the court docket if her toddler necessary more effective or no longer. i might want to imagine sure. i comprehend Heather requested for more effective money, and were given a lot less. She wanted more effective safe practices for her and her daughter.

you give a question with an opinion, and you get multiple responses with different opinions, that's the way it works. do i think it's fair? you know the consequences when you post opinionated questions, and you aren't at all exempt from them. so, yes.
so, here's my personal opinion: you are a fourteen-year-old who probably has been ignored all her life, so you come on to yahoo questions to grab the most attention. since america (and more specifivally, americans) seems to be a hot topic of debate, you latch on to that, since it seems to drag in the most responses. in summary: you are an ignorant fool.

If your opinions are of type "should we get together and kick the Americans off Answers" then you should expect to be slated, yes it's fair.
You don't have to say nice things, but it would be nice if you backed up your opinions otherwise they look like you are slating people. If you can't take it don't dish it out.
Who cares if you are nice ? Who cares if you are a bigot ? Sounds like you do or you wouldn't be so worried. Grow up.

It has been my experience that people who say they are not afraid of speaking their minds, never have anything nice to say to anybody. It is always negative, which is why they have to say they are not afraid. Most people speak their minds either negatively or positively, There is nothing brave about it.
