Okay. I am like, white, and I guess I have been always hvaing crushes on white guys. Not racist, but hey, they were what i was attracted too. Now this new thing...I am not into white guys anymore. I am into indian guys. Like, darkish skin, beautiful accents, thick black hair... I realyl wonder is this just a phase. I thought so....but now I'm not sure. I mean, I am currently in a relationship with Saavan, my bf, who I have been attracted to more then any white guy. I am definetly not racist to whites----I am white.
I am not trying to be racist to ANY race.
But what do you think. I suddenly think the indians are beautiful people..they're languages...traditions...........
Do you think this is a phase, or something that will stay?

i think it's perfectly normal and acceptable. it might stay or you might "grow out of it"...i'm not saying it's a phase but it could change if something were to change it, i'm sure. don't worry about it, girl!

Time will tell if it's a phase or not, but ultimately you should be attracted to someone regardless of their ethnicity or just how they look. I guess everyone has a "type", and depending on how long you have been in the dating world and have been into Indian men, you have already discovered yours. Don't be bothered by it all too much. Just live and love.

You are perfectly normal. Just think of it as this way...with time, everything you like or dislike will change. Food, clothing, music, Tv shows, movies...there will be times that you may like something you disliked and dislike something you liked before. You're preferences change over time and sometimes you don't know why but it does. Just let it...
You are not racist because to be racist, it's like you hating those who are a certain ethnicity and think that you are better than them. It's just your preference but just have pride in who you are. Glad you respect another's culture though.
Even in my life, things change. When I was young, I liked local guys (I'm from Hawaii) who had like 10 different ethnicities. As I became an adult, I started becoming attracted to caucasian, asian and American Indian more than those who are mixed. It's just over time, preferences change. Perfectly normal...

why should it be a phase? you cant help who you are attracted to...Im a black female but I dont have an attraction to just Black guys...there are some whites, latinos, asians, other races I have found equally attractive....who says just because your one race we have to be entitled to that race...thats what makes America such a great country right? Besides some of the most beautiful people in the world are of mixed races....so don't be afraid if you are suddenly attracted to indians and other races....Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder!

your tastes are going to change as you get older. You can never be sure what they will be in the future. You may like indians today, and mexicans tomorrow. The heart wants what the heart wants. Forget about race, and look for a good person. Nothing else will matter.

That doesn't make you racist. Indians just fit the type to which you are attracted.
It may be a phase, or it may last. There's really no way to know. Either way, it shouldn't be a problem for you or anyone else. :)

Well when I was a stupid hopeful teenager I used to have a thing for blonde baby faced boys. Examples of baby faces Leo Decapyo-when he was in Titanic, Topy Magurie from Spiderman.
Now I prefer black or brown haired men with rugged looks. So far this new prefrence of mine has stayed so I weren't know.

What are you anxious about, your parents, or what? If you like the guy - date him, marry him or whatever, but for God's sake stop making a big deal out of nothing ........
It's 2007.
Personally I'd bee more concerned with what he's really thinking about dating a white american woman. He might just think you're easy and immoral. It's just a thought.

I am black, but I am attracted to white guys. Many say I am racist to my own race, but it's just that more whites show individuality than blacks. I'm into the skater/goth type. Maybe it's a phase, or maybe you're just suddenly noticing their uniqueness. I say YEAH to you!

its no longer an element or being racist, its basically what you pick as we communicate. perchance you've had undesirable thoughts with white adult men contained in the previous yet thats now to not say that you would possibly want to by no ability date one lower back because one undesirable apple doesnt damage the completed ingredient. basically delight in being you and what you want
