Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - December 2006

My best friend is gay. He came out of the closet a few months ago. We've been friends since we were seven. We're 19 now and in college. We also practice Wicca together and lots of people seem to think that we're doing gay stuff together at our rituals. Not true. How should I handle this?

i met this guy randomly and we already went out to 3 days, i really like him and seems like he likes me too.....recently we asked me to go to atlantic city with him for 2 days.....and i really wanna go, but i am not sure, if i should........especially now that he knows that i am a virgin.........i think the main reason i wanna go with him is because i really wanna try sex, and i am 22 now, so i think i could be a great start to my adult life,.....i know we probably wont be together for long, but i am very attracted to him now....so what do you think? should i go or not?? and how should i stay it to my parents , i am still living with them.....and they still think of me as if of a very good cathlic virgin girl.

I know I have a real good shot at this, if they would be open to hearing about my experience as a transsexual, but part of me is afraid to write about that in a scholarship essay. What do you think?

Do all you people REALLY think you are going to stop people from being gay? Do you REALLY htink you are going to stop equal rights for gay and lesbian folks? Do you REALLY think that all your hate and bigotry will accomplish anything at all?
What, do you think that the millions of gay folks in this country and going to hear what you are saying and go "Wow, they really hate me, I'd better go back in the closet or act straight." Do you really think that?
You know, gay and lesbian folks have been around since earliest recorded history and guess what? They aren't going anywhere. Ever. They are here to stay. They will eventualy have equal rights and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Ever.
Its funny. Every time I hear a gay basher or some religious anti-gay fanatic talk, its like listening to Hitler or all those folks back in the '60's speaking out against equal rights for blacks.

Gay rights have EXPLODED in the last 20 years alone. Do you anti-gay bigots REALLY think you can stop it?

real question, if you 2 are together but decide to split which one of you gets the baby,, please dont say you will share cause that never really happens,, i saw this recently were a couple was fighting for a 3 year old raised by both but of course the court gave the baby to the biological mother,, so how about it you non biological lesbain, would you fight for custody of a child you did not have but helped raise, and have you talked about this with your partner

I have talked to many people who don't even believe bisexuality exists! They think that you can only prefer 'either' 'or', which isn't true.
Then you have people who believe that bisexuals cannot be monogamous.
I am attracted to both sexes, and I'm married. My wife knows that in the past, I've had sex with both women and men, and that I am now committed to HER alone. I am no more likely to cheat than a straight or gay person. What's so difficult to understand?

I have a very close friend who is bi but within the last many years has really become more interested in women. She is involved with a very wonderful woman and I know they love each other and I don't want to break that up but the truth is that I have loved her for many years and think that I will always love her. Okay, the bible says that sodomy is wrong, not homosexuality. In my opinion, size, shape, color, and orientation shouldn't matter. You should be with the person you love. I mean, if your husband or wife was the same sex as you, wouldn't you still love them?

i mean..she said she was bi once but we were joking on the phone... i said i was gay and then she said she was bi...and i said i was gay as in i was happy talking to her and she said "Oh, well im just joking, i tihnk that is sick" I mean, most of her friends are guys on myspace...and she never says anything like she likes a girl for her looks unless she says a girl is beaitiful...but other than that she says she is 100% straight.
