Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - December 2006

yes, I am a 23 year old virgin, nationality- Indian living in HK. I'm a modern girl with an open mind and I have been dating since 3 years. This question is particularly for the Americans. Now, I watch a lot of American TV serials, desp housewives, friends, that 70's shows etc and I'm totally hooked on. I've been to the states before and had a really good time. My question is why do you guys make such a big deal of being a virgin? I mean (as they show on TV) if youre a virgin at 18 youre made fun of and it is just NOT a normal phenomena. Can anyone explain?

what is a "traditional" lesbian relationship. What I mean is what are the stages? Like when you meet, start dating, (move in, etc), move on? I was just wondering about gay marriage, why do so many people think it's wrong, or it should be against the law? First you have the people who thinks it's not natural, now I never chose to be gay I never wanted to be discramented against for who I am. People are who they are, they do not choose this path. They do what makes them happy. Then you have Religious people, I grew up in a pentecostal church who tought me it was un-godly and gay people can not go to heaven. I know that I am in love with my partner, god says love is truth, there is no love greater than gods love, so on. How can true love be wrong? It can, it's what your heart feels, and no one can change that. If two people want to be married and spend their lives commited together in matramony why not let them? Hwck, some people get 2, 3, even 4 marriages and I cant get one? What do you think?

For example, when I first met my friend, her dog didn't like me.It took a couple of days but now, I've known my friend for 2 years and every time her dog sees me she cries for me and is so excited to see me. As for my friends, friend... the dog known her also for the same amount of time and really does not like the girl. So I'm asking would your animal play a part in who you dated or are friends with? By the way, my friend is also unhappy and I notice(plus she tells me) that the dog can sense her unhappiness.

After you answer a question at the bottom of the page it will say "Now you are on a roll" and then give three or four questions you might want to answer.

Now normally those question will be in the very same category as the one in which you just posted an answer. However, I have noticed that in LCBT section often the promoted questions are out of the Religion section.

Why is this?

Am I being paranoid in thinking it is set up this way by Yahoo for the purpose of sending some type of message to folks.

Maybe it is also possible they are promoting it cuz they know that a number of the fundie types come here to correct the ways of gay folk.

What do you think?
