I need help. I am scared, I want to be normal but I cannot reconcile my body with my sense of identity. I have always felt very strongly that I should have been born female, but I know my body is not. The older I get the harder it is for me to keep fighting my identity and complying with social pressures to "fit in". I do not want to feel this way, is there any way I can get rid of these feelings and find peace with who I really am?

We were out last night and I could feel someone touching me bum. I turned around and he was there, I know it was him even though he was pretending to be looking around.

He asked me to touch him and if started huggin me , he wouldn't let go. He tells me he is gay and he is out and proud but things like this that annoy me.

Recently a friend of mine told me that he undresses her with his eyes and that he gives her the creeps. I'm beginning to suspect that he just plays up the gay thing to get close to girls. Alot of our friends have noticed this. My gay friend said he got off with my friend but he didn't seem into it like other gay guys. He couldn't wait to get away and my gay friend has plenty of experience and was almost certain he is playing up the gay thing.

How should I act around him?

My brother is clearly gay. He has the hand movements the talking and everything. The problem is not that he is gay but the fact he trys to hide it. He married the first girl that would marry him. They sleep in seperat beds and don't seem to have anytype of real married relationship. I don't mind that he is gay but I wish he could be happy with it and come out and just say it. I think he would be happier and more fulfiled person. How should I deal with him when I know this but don't want to be forceful about him coming out? I don't want to make him uncomfortable by the way I might act when he does some things that are sort of gay. He is 25 years old and I am 24. I just want to respect him the best I can on this issue but don't know how to act or feel about it.

I'm 25 yo male, gay. i have this friend. i know him for 8 years since college. He never knows that i am gay, and i don't know if he's gay/not. when we both met we were 17. we hang out a lot. and since i am a straight A student, while he's not, i helps him a lot with study. He sleeps over at my place frequently to study or just playing PS2. in the past 3 yrs, He's been acting weird in his sleep (we sleep in the same bed when he sleepover, just sleep, no intimacy). Sometimes, he hug me and press his body and his **** to mine, rubbing gently till he orgasm. I don't know if it's because he's having an erotic dream or else (since i never know how i sleep when i'm having one :) ). i have to admit that he's quite attractive. one night, i just can't hold my self. i just responded to his action and even some night, i started first. anyway, sometimes he just push my body back (which i never did, if he started 1st), othertimes he hold me back or just stay still.

I have been seeing someone for 6 years and prior to us getting together he had never had a girlfriend before, but was actively gay for 6 years. He said that all he really wanted was a girlfriend and a family with kids etc, but it never worked out, even though he tried really hard, it was easier to pick up guys. Now, here's the twist, it actually really turns me on that he has had sex with other men, and just thinking about it when we are intimate, makes me really excited if you know what I mean. I ask him questions about what he's done but he gets annoyed and says he doesn't want to relive that life..is this normal for me to be attracted to the gay side of my now hetero partner?

Many people said if a guy thought about he might be a gay, then he is.

I can't tell what is the difference. I know not every gay acting feminine, some of them are just not attracted by woman.

Any suggestion?

I told her it wasn't true and laughed at her. But I really am into asian chicks lol. Has anyone else encountered sweeping generaliztions about gays that are in your case, actually true? BTW That wasn't her being insulting or anything, she just thought wrong. I don't mean the cruel and mean generaliztions made by homophobes and ignorant bigots but the funny ones or just odd ones made by people who are just generally confused.

Ok, first off, gays ARE in the military and always have been.In the past, the military could discharge you if they discovered you were gay and often investigated service members to determine if they are gay solely based on suspicion.Even gays bars would, at times, be monitored by the military in order to catch serve members in the act of being in a gay bar.

Today, gay and lesbian and bisexual service members serve with some protection under the 'don't ask don't tell don't pursue' policy. But this policy has been met with controversy and has not always worked they way it was meant to.Gays and lesbians still are regularly discharged regardless of their service records, capabilities, or honors. They are still subjected to investigation based on certain forms of suspicions.

Now the new Democratic run congress will consider repealing the 'don't ask don' tell' policy effectively ending all bans.
