I’ve actually thought about this before, sadly. LOL Definitely the song “Iris” by the Goo Goo
Dolls. I love the words. Like, the first line of the song is

“I’d give up forever to touch you, cause I know that you feel me somehow, you’re the closest to heaven that I’ll ever be, and I don’t want to go home right now”

I Can really relate to that part, especially, because when I first realized I liked other guys, I was still a Christian, and so I was going thought the conflict of weather to live the rest of my life the way the bible told me to, so I would “go to heaven”, or to give up what I then believed to be right and wrong, just so I might find love, and have a chance to be truly happy. It’s like saying that I would give up a eternity after death, just to be able to love who I want while I’m alive.

Not sure if you mean song, artist, or what but my songs would be 3 Libra's by a perfect circle, because not only am I a Libra, but the song hits close to home, or I believe in a thing called love by the darkness, because I do.

I've always loved really old Jazz and pop music from the 1920's through the 1940's... (some '50s & '60s too)... I always just had it in me. I had to really struggle with finding it (before the internet came along...) and now...
