I'm all for it. Gay people should be able to go off and marry if they want. They are humans, just like you and me. Being gay is not a disease, it's not something to be ashamed of. They should be able to marry, and for all the people who say that it's ruining straight marriages, think about this: Britney Spears' straight marriages? That ruins it for me. And half or more of all homosexual marriages in the United States end up as a divorce, and that's just sad. Really. I'm Greek Orthodox Christian and I'm not a homosexual marriage supremist. Gay people are normal. Get over it.

For. The Church and state separated long ago so people who use the bible as a reason not to marry are not with the times. Marriage is basically a legal contract between two people with benefits under the government. I see absolutely no reason why they should marry. AND, I'm proud to day my church accepts everyone and had a gay/lesbian group.

I support gay marriage 100%
We marry for LOVE.... cause we care about each other.
Marriage has nothing to do with color, gender, handicap and so on. Marriage has to do with Love.... 2 people that want to spent thier lifes together.

For-anything that selectively reduces rights for a group of people is wrong. We are entitled to equal protection under the law.

I am for it. Gay people have a right to express their love and have a legal partnership just as heterosexuals do; how would you feel if your significant other's second cousin was allowed to see them on their deathbed and you weren't, simply because you are of the same sex? It is a terrible injustice. Child adoption is another matter but where are other people aren't concerned, live and let live.

I don't think it should be called "Marriage" or a "union", but they should be able to claim each other on taxes, adopt children, and consider the other the next-of-kin. I think this should be considered a "common law" marriage, and should be honored as such. I don't think it's fair to force a preacher (of any religion) to marry a homosexual couple.

So for it, i mean if it makes the people happy, go for it. If straights have the right to a marriage then gays should have that same right too. POWER TO GAYS!

I'm not really for or against it. I don't really care if they ban it, but I do believe that MARRIAGE IS ABOUT LOVE, NOT GENDER.
