I stopped over at a guys house with him and his gf when my gf was away on holiday, I didn't tell her because I knew that she would think that something had happened, and it hadn't. I then got very very drunk and told her, 3 months after the fact, which sounded even more weird!!

Do you have any *firsthand* experience of men who were were extremely bigoted and homophobic, then turned out to be gay? It's generally taken for granted that it happens, but I was wondering what people's personal experiences were.

There's a guy at my church who once stood up in a meeting and said that gay people shouldn't even be allowed to be church members (we're a fairly middle-of-the-road Church of England parish with a handful of gay people in the congregation). A while later one of my friends bumped into him in a gay bar downtown.

Why is it that the majority of gay men base their personalities around their sexuality when it really doesn't form a great part of who you are, but more what you are? This really gets to me - I don't like falseness

Are there women out there for a feminine guy or does he have to be gay?

My brother is gay. I've known about it for about 8 years now. I am totally accepting of him and his lifestyle. He told my mom some years back and she locked herself in the bathroom crying and asking what she did wrong as a mother. Since then no one has mentioned anything further about it to her. He never said anything to my dad. I'm the only one in the family that really knows the true him. I'm the only one that he can have meet his boyfriends. I feel really bad that he can't be himself around my parents. I want him to be able to be himself. I am proud of everything that he puts up with and he still has the guts to be proud of himself! What should he do about my parents? He had to move back in with them (for financial reasons) so he has to put himself back in the closet and pretend to be a "normal" man. Do you think he should try again with my parents or should he just pretend to be something he's not when they're around?

partner had an affair with a younger man we befriended. i was suspicious from the start and my insticts proved correct that the guy was only after my partner and not a friendship. this has happened to me in a relationship when i was younger also so that is my question. can gays in a relationship cope with friendships with other gays? i dont have any cause i dont trust there motives.

We have a person in our office of about 30 people that became more feminine over the course of about three months. One day he came to work totally made up as a woman, asked to be referred to as "she" and feminized his/her name. Even though I work in San Francisco, I found this really weird. I have to interact with "her" on a daily basis (a very homely 53 year old man). The bottom line is I am afraid of saying something inappropriate and getting in trouble at work (nothing intentionally hurtful, just careless, maybe). Anyone out ther had a similar problem and maybe have some tips?

I think I like this girl. We can talk about anything under the sun. I was attracted to her looks at first but later got to know that she's beautiful (outside and inside), straightforward and is a nice girl.

Is there any way she could like me? She had made some really nice comments about me that no one else had ever did. She said I was the "cool" kind of people and that she likes me, as a friend. But am I thinking too much because maybe she was just trying to be nice?

I'm admit that I'm boyish (appearance). Many people had said that before. But I can be really shy towards people. I'm a girl. I don't dare to ask her if she likes me because I don't want this to ruin our friendship. What can I do? Am I becoming a lesbian?

And also, a friend of mine revealed to me that he likes me, 2 years ago. He still does. But I just couldn't accept him. I don't know why! There's like a barrier that I can't cross over to...

So please, anyone. Help me. I'm really confused.

Sometimes at the beginning of one of our dates I won't be so attracted to her and by the end it wears off (no alcohol involved!). There are other times though when I don't like certain physical features she has (her nose mainly...it has characteristics of a pigs nose). I do love her though...I really do. Last summer I was with a different girl who I was really attracted to but turned out to be a complete psycho. My current gf is nothing like that and I know she loves me so much and would do anything for me. The only problem is sometimes I'm not attracted to her. Does this just happen to a lot of people after dating for a while? This is my first serious relationship.

I recently started going to this new gay bar that has a bit more of a leather and blue collar scene, and somewhat more cruisey than most gay bars. I've never really seen women there, it's basically a men's bar. Now my female friend insisted on coming with me one night, she said she hates going to straight bars becuase she gets unwanted attention by the men and doesn't get that from gay men. Now, after she had a few drinks she started carrying on, and getting loud, and it seemed to me, it was because she wasn't getting attention. The men there were looking to meet other men, and nobody would really talk to her. And I got a few dirty looks from guys for bringing her there. And finally the bartender 'suggested' we leave. Now I want to go back to this bar tomorrow night, they are having a party and it's probably going to be a bit raunchy. How can I tell my friend she is not welcome? She is the type of person to show up anyway, even if I said I was going alone. How do I keep her from going?

The other guy flirts with him often, but not sexually. He has a sexy, feminine voice and looks pretty cute.My friend asks for some suggestions 4 some situations in which he can touch and hug his fren's body. There in India, it is considered weird. But my friend tells me that people there don't know anything about lesbians or gays. Plz... Plz tell me some situations.

Do you honestly think every single gay person is lying to you when they say they were born that way and it's not a choice? Are you so paranoid that you think we all got together and made something up to confuse you? If millions of people are saying something do you think we are all lying? And for the gay-bashers, what happened to you in your childhood that made you so hateful?
