Well - they both sound like they're leaning towards the homosexual side of the attraction line, and that they're interested in each other.
The simplest way to 'hide' a relationship would be to simply move in together as 'housemates'...

Girl, in India and all over the world they know about everything, its very different when is not on their culture to show their real personalities. I have an Indian friend and he dresses like a girl here in Los Angeles and everytime he goes back to India he has to act like a real men, but i think his familly knows he is gay they just don't want to admit it because they are afraid of what others may think. Just tell your friend that feel free to do whatever he wants with another boy, he just have to make sure that the other boy is not going to tell everybody about their business, it can be their secret. they just have to be very careful.
