Agree, mostly.
Studies have been done which back up this assertion. Gay hating men sitting in a room watching gay male erotica, with scientific instruments attached to their fun parts to determine level of arousal. Most of the gay haters showed some level of sexual arousal from watching the gay erotica. (Neal Boortz has mentioned this research study on his radio program, but I am unable to give you a link to any specific info about it. You might be able to find it in the archives on his website, I don't know.)

That having been said, it doesn't matter if someone is a closeted homosexual, if they are raping and killing you. So who cares if they're in the closet, they need to be in jail cells if they are violent toward others without just cause.

I will agree and disagree at the same time. There are many guys that would constantly show to other that they hate gay man. Why beacause they know that they are gay and don't want to admit it and that's why they always talk bad about gay men to show everybody that he is not gay. In the other hand we have the guys that hate gay guys just because they cannot satnd the fact that gay guys look much better than straight guys and also if you pay attention actually gay guys get more attention from girls than straight guys and has nothing to do with sexual attraction, its all about personlity and how you carry yourself, girls love that. I hope i make sence.

When will you gay folk ever understand that the the vast majority of 'straight' people do not 'hate' you?
We abhor the very thought of any sexual act between you.
If the the thought of these acts almost makes us physically sick why would you think for one moment that we may actually enjoy it?
It is a fact no doubt , that you are 'hated' by some groups, but I feel this is a minority and I'm certain that group don't ever think they may enjoy sex with a gay feller.
I cant understand where you would conjure up this idea from.
Surely its the same as suggesting any type of sex that is considered abhorrent is because the thought of it may be attractive! Such as pedophilia ???
And before anyone suggests I am trying to equate gays with pedophiles I am not! Now pedophiles I do hate and so do the majority of folk.

Seems to me a lot of them are surprised when we don't find them attractive. They're such little bits of self-loathing that the whole world rejects them. For that they attack the easiest targets. Might be a diff race or women or gays.

I agree because to hate something you have to feel passionate about it. Therefore if you find something repulsive you wouldn't feel the need to hate something you just would turn away from it in disgust. Therefore men who 'hate' gay men very definately are afraid of their own sexuality.

I'm sure that my be true on occasion, but there are plenty of other factors which contribute to hatred towards gays. It may be religion, upbringing, varied personal experience, or just a settled conclusion one has come to.
To think that the only reason a man harbors ill feelings towards gays is because he MIGHT secretly desire/enjoy a gay sexual experience... That's the same logic as "The only reason you are gay is because you haven't found the right woman yet.'

I agree if they are thinking about actually sleeping with gay men then hate us because of that then they are just afraid... and we know what fear means... definition of fear is Fantasized Experiences Appearing Real. Thier fear causes hate. =) hope that is helpful

Why would a straight man be afraid of what would happen if he slept with a gay man? Under what circumstance would that happen? Straight men should be happy for gay men. Leaves more women for the rest of us.

I definitely think so. There's some truth in the idea that homophobes are really just repressing their homosexuality. I think a lot more men are bisexual and have that tendency than will admit it. I hate that this side of male sexuality is so repressed, because damn, guys kissing is sooo hot. (forgive me, I'm a pig)
