Because, my Dear One, you like it. Plain and simple. You like to do it, sort of the reason I still suck my thumb. I like it. You're a manly man and you like ladies clothing. Cool. I have no problem with it. Blessings.

Does it really bother you that you do Crossdress?, be cofortable in who you are and live life with no regrets and you will be a happier person for it, besides there are quite a few people who do the same thing, you should check the web for like minded people and see if you can share tips and maybe even dressing ideas, bu that is entirely up to you, just be comfortable with the life you have as it is the one you are living, we all see the greener grass on the other side of the fence, you just get to see what it is like for a little while, have fun with it, be yourself and just be.

Without going into a thesis about this, and believe me I can, let me make it very simple.

We all have to genders inside of us, male and female. Societal pressures demand that we bury the opposite gender of our birth sex.

We as male to female crossdressers desire to embrace that buried gender and we do so by wearing the clothing designed for that gender. But we do so under the guise of having to hide the fact for self-preservation.

Women on the other hand, have been openly crossdressing for years. Don't believe me? How often is it that you see a woman wearing 'male' clothing? Thousands of times a day.

You wear skirts, dresses, pantyhose, etc. to embrace that hidden woman. You can relate to a softer existence by doing so. There are several who share this with you, actual rocket scientists, military, physicians, law enforcement, construction workers - all 'menly men.'

There is nothing wrong with crossdressing and it is not a sign that you are gay or bi. In fact most crossdressers are heterosexual in monogamous relationships.

Being a crossdresser is a part of you like your arm is part of you. It is something that you cannot change.

The biggest sex organ in your body is your brain. In the case of the compulsive cross dresser they have a NEED to wear women's clothes. When they do so, their brain releases a series of neurotransmitters which produce a sensation of well-being, pleasure, self-gratification and self-identity. It is sometimes referred to as a "high". These neurotransmitters are the same chemicals associated with addictive behavoir patterns.

When the cross dresser trys to quit, he finds that he cannot. If he gives in to his desires, then he trys harder and harder to achieve a higher, "high", sometimes resorting so some pretty extreme measures. The cross dresser will try very, very hard to achieve some ultra-feminine alter-ego, he will give "her" a name, and will eventually fall in love with this alter-ego.

Most cross dressers are heterosexual and prefer their wives to encourage his cross dressing habits. Unfortunately, the wife tires of this rather quickly and complains that she feels like her husband's second love. If they have children, the children are taught to keep "daddy's secret" or risk the ridicule of their friends.

When the cross dresser gets into his 40's then he will have an identity crisis. He will take more risks, and desperate measures with is female alter-ego. He will consider ways of looking more feminine, including the possibility of surgery. At this point the cross dresser may decide to leave his wife and family and pursue his first love. At which time he will also experience extreme loneliness and depression.

The pattern of cross dressing is very similar to an addiction. Crossdressing is something that you have to gain some control over or it will take control over you.

there are many reasons why you might, but that is something you will have to figure out on your own. you have nothing to be ashamed of i am a 37 yo man who lives full time in womens clothes i love dressing and living in a female identity but i am as straight as they come. my gf is accepting of this and knows it is just aprt of my personality. dont deny who you are you cant change it, the more you try to supress it the worse you will feel. you are who you are accept it and love it.

well maybe you just like to dress up. try joining an acting club where you will get to dress up all the time!! if it bothers you though consider getting counseling so you can talk about it without feeling judged. people do weird things sometimes but as long as your not hurting others doing it then don't worry about it. GOOD LUCK!!

Because you want to. This may sound like a simplistic answer, but think about it - the way to stop is by not doing it. The choice is yours.

no one can answer that but you.... you are not alone though i know others who do it and are straight while others are gay. if it makes you feel good when you do it then that could be why.. maybe something in your past triggered this feeling. just know you are not crazy. I hope you find your answer.
