There are several competing and overlapping theories about parallel universes, but the most basic is based on the simple, if mind-boggling, idea that if the universe is infinite then logically everything that could possible occur has happened or will happen.
Try this on for size: a copy of you living on a planet and in a solar system like ours is reading these words just as you are. Your lives have been carbon copies up to now, but maybe he or she will keep reading even if you don't, says Max Tegmark, a cosmologist at MIT in Boston, Massachusetts.

I find it is. Assigning a family member attractiveness is basically an off-shoot of sexual attraction based on your taste.

That's the thought of incest?

When 1/3 of the world vasnishes into thin air, how will the rest of the people explain it? What will people think? Will they think it is a government conspiracy? Maybe they will think it is alien abductions. What do you think?

If you don't truly believe it?
Remember: I'm agnostic, i'm just want to hear others views on things. Like, how were sopposed to believe something that we don't believe in our hearts?

While I am relatively new to this community, I have spent much of the last 10 years in various on-line forums. During that time it has become apparent that atheists tend to be greatly more foul-mouthed, rude, disrespectful and downright nasty than the religious people I have run into on-line. The more respectful athiests never tell the blockheads to shut up and act civil. Why is that?

People ask what would convince me that god truly exists. While I am not sure, I am certainly open to any tangible evidence. I do not know what evidence would convince me because I believe it is impossible to prove the existence of god. What evidence would convince you that god does not exist? See the conumdrum: it is difficult to answer their question! See falsifiability (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falsifiability ) and Rules of Evidence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rules_of_evidence ) for more information.

Do not quote bible passages as evidence of god's existence. This is my standard of proof, not yours. However, if proof were proffered that convinced me god exists, I would change absolutely nothing in my life or my behavior. The existence or not of god does not matter. Like many humans I live a purposeful life and god does not add more purpose.

How can I chose a right church? Why do people choose church by worship style/ people @ church and the leadership? I've been attending this church for a while. First it was okay. As more I attend there, I am realizing that church leaders are not very spiritual. They drink wine and uploaded on facebook. I've seen them cuss like once. The leader dont focus too much on the bible outside of worship service. They focus too much on fellowship, not on Mission, and Great Commission. As more I go there, it feels like leaders are not really having personal relationship with God, or not really fired up, but they are repeatedly doing it, leading worship just because it is Sunday. If I feel emotionally not healthy because I tend to judge the leaders, is it okay to move church? I know that I need to serve people, but it is hard to love the leaders at my church becuase they seemed hypocrites and I am not being fed. If you had to move church before, how did you choose?

It was something about asking for the strength to overcome evil men. To avoid being deceived or tricked....and led to evil. It specifically referred to "man". I can't remember where its at in the bible-and I really want to find it. Any suggestions?

Many answerers on this site say that sexual orientation is a choice.

Do you remember when you decided to be a heterosexual?

And if you didn't choose to be a heterosexual, then what do you think caused it: did something happen to you to make you heterosexual, or do you think it's genetic?

Here in the UK it's a little after 5.30 am. I haven't been to bed yet as I got carried away fixing up a second p.c. Just now, I'm laid on my bed listening to the ambient music on BBC 2 as the text pages scroll round and round. The cosy glow from the night light suspended over my bed, casts off enough light to help me spot my dog Barney asleep in the corner of the room. It's cosy, in a lazy sort of way .. My tum is rumblin' I'm starvin' but haven't got the energy to drag myself downstairs to put somethin together, my legs are like lead .. guess that's the tiredness... but I lay here and think, another year has come to an end and in a few short hours people around the world will be hoping for better things in the New Year as they toast the old one out ... I can recall last New Years eve .. and it was nothing like this. The birds outside herald the start of the day .. .. So, ok .. what have you got lined up for tonight .. or will you be staying in the comfort of your cosy room?
