Death is a natural part of life, I think its foolish if you DO fear death. Who wants to live their life in fear?

It isn't foolish not to fear death because like life, death is natural. We should not fear the inevitable, but instead embrace it just as we embrace life, because death is the opposite of life and if we don't fear life we should not fear death.

It depends on how you see it mate. There was a period in my life when i feared death. One of my friends got hit by a train, no he is in a wake coma. He will be like that til he dies. I was very depressed and i couldnt stop thinking about that my life will end sometime.
But now im all good about it, i was blessed with life (even thou it sux sometimes) and death is just a part of it. Everything ends sometime. So will our life. Anyways, its not foolish at all not to fear death.

No. Death is only a transition into the next world. In the natural world, we are taught to fear death because we don't know what is on the other side of it. If you are a believer, then you would not fear death since you would know that after death comes life with the Father. That's something no one needs to fear. I embrace it!

Yes. Anybody who says they don't fear death is lying, or crazy. I've been deployed to Iraq twice, plus a tour in Afghanistan. In over 35 months of combat, the thing that I've learned is that true courage is not the lack of fear. A lack of fear is foolishness. True courage is measured in what you do in the face of your fear. I'm not afraid of much, but that dying thing gets me every time.

Yes, it is foolish to have no fear death. But it is equally foolish to live in fear of death.

No.

I don't fear death. I fear dying.. you know, the how, the when.. but not death itself. Once I'm dead, I'm dead. There won't be anything of me left to fear it, so why fear it now? I don't rush for death. I am careful with my life, and with the lives of others. But we all will die someday. Why fear the inevitable?

Actually it's wise not to fear death. It's living day to day that is the challenge, the unknown, because you don't know what will happen from one minute to the next.
