I meditate and study.... I also lead a Circle of fellow gnostics where we study & meditate together.
I don't think you should force beliefs on anyone... it's about one's own path. When it's time, you will find the right tradition for you.
Love yourself and others...

Thats a really good question one that I have struggled with myself. Let me suggest that you read the Left Behind series of books. Theyre by two guys named Tim Lahaye, and Jerry Jenkins and are about the end times. They start with Jesus rapturing the true believers on earth and what the bible says will happen during the period after known as the tribulation.
For years I was undecided and we all know that following the bible is not an easy thing to do but reading this series really opened my eyes and helped bring me to faith.
Either way theyre worth a look at

Well..my take..and this is the way I've heard it all my life..and I' ve come to believe it every morning I wake up..The world was made by some skillful hands..Just think the ozone layer is perfect..and then you got gravity..and oxygen..and all the chemicals in the air..but yet you don't die from them..Then you think about how your able to wake up everyday..and there is the sun shining through your window..and you see animals..and trees..you see so much..I never really realized the things in nature..that were created by God..especially not until we did this Bible thing at school..we watched this 45 minute thing by Louie Giglio..and Chris Tomlin..who is a christian musician..LoL..and Chris has this song called "Indescribible"..might be spelled wrong..LoL..the video is on youtube..if you want to open up and watch it..listen to the lyrics and watch the video..and it shows you in nature..there is a pic at the very end of the video that you might find pretty amazing..there is also one on the human body..I haven't searched it's video..but it tells about this cell in your body..it basically holds all other cells toghether..it is in the shape of a cross..It's all pretty amazing..I used to not understand how I could believe in something..that was told was here before anything else..how did it get here? LoL..but then I started reading my Bible..and I finally saw the light..and heard Jesus knocking at my door..I said a prayer..asking him to come into my heart and take me down the path of rightesousness..probably spelled wrong..lol..and as soon as I stopped praying..I felt this whole new feeling about my body..It felt as if I was a whole new person..And once a month at school(i go to a Christian academy) we have a worship rally type thing..and we sing songs of worship and we pray..and ask God to come into the building and let us lift Him up..and you can feel Him!!! I thought it was amazing the first time it ever happened to me..It felt like I couldn't breathe..I hit my knees and prayed and thanked God for everything!!! I know this probably won't save anyone..but you asked for our views..and that is mine..my long testimony told short..I've asked God into my heart 3 times..because everytime..well the 1st and 2nd..I went back to my ways..and didn't ever pray..and never asked for His forgiveness..the last time..I nailed my heart shut to the devil..I'm not a perfect Christian..I still listen to music that I probably shouldn't..well..some of it doesn't show that I'm a Christian..but some of it does..I can't help that..People can learn to get over it..LoL..Well..that's my view..and my story..LoL..sorry for making it so long..I really get into things like this..

As an engineer and a Catholic, I am challenged by this. Virgin birth, resurrection of the dead - ridiculously unlikely events, yet I need to believe them with all my heart and soul.
It took me 25+ years to get to where I could honestly swear that I believe the doctrines of the Catholic Church, so I was unable to accept the sacrament of Confirmation for a long time.
In the end, I realized that every honest belief we have is based on unprovable assumptions. Math and logic all assume axioms that have to be taken on faith, or nothing can be accomplished with them. Science is based on theorems that are never proven, only disproven on occasion. So much for the supremacy of logic and reason (check out Godel's Incompleteness Theorem for a mind blowing demonstration of the absolute limits of logic!).
On the other hand, mysteries abound. Miracles occur all of the time, and if you're paying attention you can't help but feel spiritual events on occasion. Perhaps these are all delusions, but they sure don't feel like it.
Perhaps it's my Catholic upbringing, but I firmly believe many elements of my faith: free will, good and evil, sin and redemption, all of these resonate with me. Even apparently ridiculous myths such as creation in Genesis, when read carefully, imply a changing universe that went through distinct phases, and higher life forms arose later in the creation. All things considered, this appears to be an inspired description of what we now believe the creation and history of the universe was actually like, in terms that people could understand millenia ago.
I also have found that the rituals of the Catholic church help me. Reconciliation is a comfort to me, prayer is beneficial, and when dealing with the death of loved ones, nothing else offered me any comfort; only faith and prayer helped.
I have doubts in my heart, but I deal with it, affirm my faith, and continue to live my life as much according to the ideals and examples of Christ as I can. For years my heart was divided, sometimes believing, sometimes not, but I have found myself more and more able to accept it: I am an imperfect sinner, and I need help from a higher power. I have never been happier than I am now, and my faith is a major element of that.

Many times in my life i have questioned things... I grew up going to Church, Private school, etc... but there are still times when we all do things that arent "proper", etc...
but I always gets signs - like God reminding me of the right path...
sometimes at church, sometimes just driving in the car and seeing something - like a billboard...
I have faith in God... if you are questioning something, then do a little research and dont just rely on others to tell you what is what... faith is from within - not an answer book or someone telling you something... but you can make a decision based on what you think is correct...
good luck.

You need to know a person to understand them and then you begin to love them for different reasons. If you get into scripture and get to know what God's messages are you will begin a relationship with him. It is a wonderful thing to experience. Pray to God that he comes into your heart and shows you the love he has for you. It won't happen over night because it is a relationship like others that need to develop. Now that you are asking questions and showing a desire and an interest in God, He is tugging at your spirit and calling you to get to know him. Do you realize how special you are to Him and how much he loves you? smile

The problem u have created is that u have concluded that there isn't, not allowing space for anything else. So in oredr to change that, u have to reverse ur thinking by allowing urself space to analyse other things before drawing a definate conclusion.

If your agnostic there is no point, first step is believing in God,second is by personal invitation agreeing with God that Jesus was his son that he died on the cross that he rose and is seated at Gods right hand side, and because he died for our transgressions you and I have a way to eternal life...through Christ Jesus!

Right you are. Get rid of crunches of belief and realize the Truth yourself. Borrowed knowledge can serve the purpose to some extent. Answers are to be discovered by your own self.
Have a non-critical, unbiased and inventive mind of a scientist. Prior to an invention, a scientist doesn’t have any logic to prove his work, but even then he is fully dedicated and committed to his work, which eventually makes him successful. Mind is clever and always tries to consolidate answers for it’s convenience. Have quest for knowledge and live with questions.
