For the past couple of years, I considered one girl my closest friend - a sister in a lot of ways. She felt the same way. We shared all the time, talked all the time, and I felt like I had a real confidante that I could trust for the first time in years.

Over time, I noticed that all we talked about was her, and our friendship seemed to be based on me helping her through emotional issues only to be left in the cold when I needed someone. I decided to stop feeding into her demands for attention, and suddenly she had nothing to do with me. She still pretends that she cares via little fake emails or text messages, but she doesn't call me, and we haven't seen each other in months. It was all about her;there was no real reciprocity.This is hard to come to terms with. Now I find myself so hurt that I think about it daily,I feel very hurt.She is still on my facebook, but it bothers me to see her face. I don't know if I should delete her or not.How can I get over this and forget about her?

You shut the computer down at night, having answered all of the questions that you care to - get up the next morning and turn it on again to answer any that were posted during the night with your morning cup of coffee - click on a question, only to find that it has already been resolved but not moved to the resolved section. You don't even get a chance to answer it, so the people on the other side of the world haven't either. Sometimes, I have a really good answer already forming in my head and don't get the chance to post it, because the asker has only left it up for 4 to 8 hours.
My wish for the New Year is that everyone get along and that people leave their questions posted for 24 hours to give everyone a chance to answer

To ask to be seated at a different table or to ask to be moved to a different table. I like children but so many of them are so undisiplined I can't stand the noise and disord while I am hoping to enjoy a pleasant meal.

I'm Jewish and although I try to understand others and their religion/customs/etc. I never have been able to understand the Christian belief that in order to get to heaven or to be close to God you need to accept his "son" as your saviour. If Jesus is God and God is Jesus then why the need to accept the son if he is the father. And I've never ran accross a single Christian who has been able to explain this to me, maybe your the first?

It seems, to me, there's a lot of chicken little ppl crying the sky is falling on us, when the Bible clearly notes such destruction only comes on "them" of them/us in 1Thess 5:3/1Thess 5:9; And notably only because of what "they say": Peace & Safety in law. Perhaps they should consult someone wrongfully convicted, to see there's neither peace nor safety in law worketh wrath, and accusation of our brethren, and condemnation, and torment, and even a death sting.

It seems. to me, there's a lot of law law worry worts and fear mongers promoting sound the alarm, awaken the king, to tell him the kingdom is under attack from a phantom menace called the shadow... obviously the dark version of things to come, and not the very things to come: grace mercy peace.

What are your thoughts on wrath vs salvation?
