You need to make one up first. Then you need to convince people to follow you and give you money. You can actually have your religion and a church established no matter how ridiculous it is. It's pretty costly though.

My boyfriend actually wanted to start his own church about 4 years ago. He bought this book that teaches you exactly how to go about legally setting up your church and they give you all the forms to fill out and tell you where to submit them and the fees involved. This book cost him about 400 dollars. We have no need for the thing anymore, you can have it if you want it for free.

Well, you need some questions that don't have good answers, and you need to provide some good answers to those questions.
Popular ones are :
"what happens when we die?"
and "What's the &*%$ point?!!?"
The list goes on, but start with those two.
Get yourself a few people who aren't satisfied with the current batch of explainations. Nail a few planks together to keep those folks out of the rain of a Sunday. (or Wendesday.. that way true believers could get work off mid week) Offer people a place where they can meet other people who believe the same thing.. especially if those people are at all attractive.. and Viola.. you've got Religion. You are going to need a few centuries of struggle to be considered anything other than a fringe group or cult, but hey... A true work of art takes time.....

Just start something up.

Its not that hard, and ask your friends to join you.
Evently if things go well people will join you in be brainwashed by your evil ways. Just like every other religion out there. :)

Do what everybody else does, become a born-again Christian.

You can also do it alot easier and become a Unitarian.

- or sit at home in front of your stereo on Sunday morning.
