I believe without religion we would totally be lost,
but than again its destroying us.
Gah. Religion is an iffy thing.
When it comes down to it we are all sensitive on the subject.

I'm in a miserable job right now that last night it got so bad that I left a note for my boss giving my two weeks notice.

Is the "two weeks notice" rule the best and most polite way of leaving a job that you can't take anymore? I've also thought about just walking out and saying I quit if it gets worse again but hopefully I don't want to resort to that.

Is just walking out okay if it really does get to be too much with supervisors and people or does it look bad on your resume? Also, if you just say "I quit" and walk out does that count as being fired?

was a turning point for our Society.
Do you have a dream? a dream that is a "turning point" in your life?
Jesus had a dream. A dream in which we could walk in the freedom from our sins. A dream that would free us from the effects of sins of others as well.
In His dream, we are truly free from oppression. Not from others, but from the oppression that we allow to be handed down to us through our actions, consequences of our lives, bad decisions etc. A people who would rise up to be someone that God has set before them to be, to show the world it is possible to rise above every hindrance and bondage that we have succomb to.
What are your thoughts on this?
If you have read Dr. Kings' "I have a Dream" do you see the Jesus' teachings in it?

account that with this, comes birthing pains? In leaving, or "putting off the old man", there comes the discomfort of stepping out of what has become norm to you. We call it our "comfort zone", but in actuallity it is the process of the old man truly dying and the new man being born.
With this process, God is showing us who we will become through His forknowledge. He has us "put out into deeper water". The "birthing pains" comes in as we move through this transitional period from being who we were into who God has created us to be. There are mountains we'll face, battles we'll have to fight.... but the Birthing process is truly woth it. As God has said to me, The reward is always greater than the sacrifice....
to restate the question..... Do we/you realize this concept as part of God's Salvation.
Do you see this as what Jesus said" You must be born again"?

Farting with style takes practice,
Perfection takes time; it's a gift,
You've first got to learn all the basics,
Like pushing one out in a lift.

Those silent but violent are classics,
With friends it's a really good game,
Fart in a crowd at a party,
Then watch to see who gets the blame.

Now once your technique has been mastered,
You'll know what your bottom can do,
But ALWAYS remember - don't push too hard,
Because one day you might follow through !!!!
