Let me reword it to take away the "why argue" comments... What makes you drop your jaw and say "how the heck could you ever believe that"

Well, I don't think that this would be atheist, but I believe that there are things from different religions that we believe in.

example: I believe angels are real but I also believe that I should not eat pork because it is unnatural to have to stab a pig through its heart for it to die.

I'm well educated in the main religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Shintoism, Buddhism, etc.) and so I have come to believe and disbelieve the aspects of a religion.

There is no such thing as an atheist. an atheist would have to be 100%, not 99.9999% sure that there is not god. The only way of being 100% sure is by being omniscient or all knowing, and only a god can be all knowing.

so in reality, if you claim to be atheist, you are really agnostic, cause you believe there is no god, but there is the possibility.

If you say you're an atheist, you are calling yourself a god and if you are a god then you are no longer atheist.

You cannot be 100% sure that you are correct. There is always a doubt because your beliefs are not based on science, but on faith. Just cause there is what you people call "proof" of evolution, that doesn't allow you to draw a conclusion that there is no god. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE DENYING THAT THERE CANNOT BE A GOD.

Being a fool is one reason, probably the main one - - -
Psalm 14: 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.

and for those that do believe - - -
James 2:19 You believe there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder.

Believing isn't enough just in itself. You have to do something about it.

im not an atheist. I do believe there are fundamental forces of good and evil and I believe in the basic good in all of us. I don't believe in any religion because it's all about power, control and money. the leaders never practice what they preach and are allowed to get away with murder. if we all were just decent mcdonald's would be staffed with lot's of clergy.

i just really dont believe in god... like a life without passion? whats the point? i dont like it how the christian church is based on fear, the fear of hell forces perfection, which is just scary. i think that the fact there is no proof of god other than the bible, is a big factor, I think that jesus was probably just like a politcian or something... that some crazy guy wrote a book about... and WAY over glorified him.... the fact that there was inn is a little strange... and how jesus was probably Arab or African. its just completely unbelievable i just really disagree with religion.

The truth for me is that I feel free of having to have an argument. To me that makes all the sense in the world.

Unlike other religions such as Christianity, being atheist does not require that others believe as you. Strictly speaking, I'm not atheist.

Why does one need to argue to not believe in God? If a person doesn't want, they don't have to.
