We are not allowed to wear crucifixes, swastikas etc. but the muslim people are allowed the wear their religious garments. This is unfair in my school. What should I do?

Everytime I'm on "Yahoo Q&A", there's always questions from ATHEISTS about God and religion?? If you don't believe in God/religion, why must you always discuss it - is it because you're unsure about God???! Or is it because you just like to downgrade other peoples religions??????!!!

i had been seeing the eye of horus everywhere i went, then i got a cat statue, and a mini coffin. so i was being pulled in. being pulled in my egyptian kemeticism. is anybody else following the faith? where can i get a copy of the book of the dead? i've heard a lot of the beliefs of the egyptians are similar/duplicated in christanity. horus is jesus too. thanks.

I cant help but wondering if we will ever be able to stop worrying about all the bad things that are happening in this world. I for one would love to be able to stop thinking that every bag on a corner is a bomb or every dodgy looking person is up to something, but in this world I cant as so much evil exists. Does anyone think this kind of evil and things like paedophiles will ever go away. I personally doubt it but wondered what the world thought about it.

I was in the grocery store and this woman is going up and down the aisles coughing and sneezing her lungs out. I glared at her and I think she got my message.

Stay home if you're sick! The employees in grocery stores should escort these people out and tell them not to return until they are well.

I applied for SSI and waiting but it can take up to six months if its not denied. My children are taking it pretty hard my gas got shut off the day before thanksgiving and i had gas stove. I couldnt even afford 1 christmas present for my children. No food my food stamps ran out. Please if you know anything please help!!!

My husband and I have been married for over eight years. We have three small children. We bought lots of stuff for the kids but we haven't bought anything for each other. Upon discussion, we determined that there really isn't anything that either of us wants. We don't want to waste any time or money getting things we don't want or need anyway, so we've decided to not get each other anything at all. We are a Christian family that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ at Christmas. So the commercial side of Christmas is not really a major part of our agenda anyway. What do you think of this?

Example - a married couple, with two kids... the husband dies at age 45 from cancer. if you have no faith that the two lovers will meet again in heaven, than how can you deal with the fact that, that beautiful relationship is over, forever, and the wife has to live out her days without him, regardless if some day she finds another. Its just not fair.
This has happened to a friend of mines mother recently, and i cant help but worry that someday this has to happen to all of us. I cannot bring myself to believe in something just to make me feel better. So to all atheists, how do you, or would you deal with death like this?

First off, I go to a Catholic highschool right now, and I am almost positive that my calling in life is the priesthood. I have talked to the priest in my parish, and he gave me some great advice on prayer and what i should be praying about. Even Jews believe Jesus was a great prophet of God so why not celebrate his birthday?? Is it harmful??
Jesus was a Jew, not only that but a Radical Jew.

Also Christians believe in the Old Testament which IS the Jewish Bible The Torah... why don't they celebrate Chanukah?

I am personally no religion but I was raised Episcopalian/Christian and I just wanted to see if anyone ahd an answer to this!!
