Well, my brother usually puts out cookies and milk for "Santa". Then my mom eats the cookies and drinks the milk when he's asleep, leaving some crumbs on the plate. This is what I do for my brother: I type out a letter on the computer adressed to him from Santa, talking about how good he's been and stuff like that. I sign the letter as SANTA with my left hand. Then I put it in an envelope addressed to my brother (with my left hand also) with a return address from Santa. In the letter I also write about a special reindeer food that I enclose in the letter. To make the reindeer food use oatmeal, red and green sparkles or sugar, glitter etc. You sprinkle the reindeer food onto your porch or outside of your door on christmas Eve, and when you wake up in the morning, take your sister outside to show her that the reindeer ate it (the wind will blow most of it away). Once I enclose everything in the letter I run to my brother's room and tell him that a letter came from Santa. He loves it. =] Also, if there are cats or other animals that roam your neighborhood at night, you could write in the letter to put the reindeer food in a container that closes because the reindeer can open it. When your sister falls asleep, you can empty out the container, and show her in the morning.
Hope I helped & merry Christmas!! =]

Get ashes from the fireplace and sprinkle then near the fireplace on the floor. (Santa comes down the fireplace)
Write a note in really cool pens and colors and write it in loopy and funky handwriting (so the kids can't recognize your handwriting) AND leave the note next to the cookies and milk your kids left out for Santa.
One year when I was little I wanted to leave carrots out for the reindeer and somehow my parents were creative enough to eat half the carrots and left SLOBBER on them as if the reindeer had eaten them, I never asked them how they did that but I remember how I thought it was real!
~Just be creative, watch the Christmas movies when Santa sneaks in and see what you could do to make it appear like he came!

My parents used to have a cousin of mine dress up like santa and actually come to the house and pass out presents. I loved it when santa came to the house.

the one year my mom's friend came over dressed as santa on christmas eve and gave us each one present. then, we got the rest christmas morning. my mom usually had one of her friends write a note from santa to us so we wouldn't know it was from her.
