I was in the grocery store and this woman is going up and down the aisles coughing and sneezing her lungs out. I glared at her and I think she got my message.

Stay home if you're sick! The employees in grocery stores should escort these people out and tell them not to return until they are well.

I saw a woman at the laundromat coughing and not covering her mouth. She had about four kids with her. I felt sorry for her but she also disgusted me. I wanted to say "stop spreading your antibiotic resistant TB all over the place!"

Until you get a medical doctor on the staff at your local grocery store...you can't diagnose someone with a contageous illness. I know it's annoying, but then...how do you GET the medication to get well, if you can't go to the store? Even so, people SHOULD be more courteous. If you must shop and you're sick, cough into a tissue...get what you need and go home.

The other thing is...that person probably got that illness because someone who was sick, sneezed or coughed on the grocery cart handle they used last week.

The people who have kids that do this are worse. They let their kids cough, sneeze, pick their noses and put their hands in their mouths and touch stuff, all the while acting like it is no big deal. If you don't mind them doing that to your crap at home then that's fine, but keep them away from stuff out in the public.

And for all of you disgusting people, cough and sneeze into your sleeve or arm. I'm always done that without ever having anyone tell me, I just figured it out on my own. I don't care if you are sick or are just coughing from asthma or the like. Your mouth is still full of germs which get spread around when coughing either way.

They should at least cover their mouth and nose when having an attack.I does make me ill to see people not covering up when sick.i try to hole my breath around them.Yes, I do give them a dirty look.
I thought that I would add that my beloved older sister died from asthasma but she never had rude manners in public, she always covered her mouth or went outside to use her inhaler.having asthasma is different then just being rude with a cold.

Of course not. People become ill, sometimes they have no choice but to go out. My daughter has asthma and I am really offended by your question. She is 8 years old and coughs sometimes, should she be escorted out of stores and restaurants because of this? I make sure she covers her mouth, even though she is not contagious. You would have a real future in Eugenics or bioethicism...google it Hitler.
EDIT: Do you people really think a child with asthma should be glared at or removed from public for coughing?!?! To those who do, you are a bunch of a$$holes and you better hope you never become ill.

I always cough and sneeze all I want in public. Only when I'm talking to someone or in class when the teacher is talking do I cover my mouth.

I have asthma. I am not sick. But I am sick and tired of people giving me dirty looks for just trying to live.

Get a life.
