Actually if you look at the way I ask the question I don’t believe it. However, I have heard Baptist, Methodists, and others say this.

If Mary stayed a virgin then what the hell did Joseph do? He is a man after all, do you really think he stayed faithfull or did she give up the backdoor? Yes I going to hell now because I am saying Mary gave up the backdoor. I would hope she at least gave him something to calm him down. Either that or the sheep were walking funny around the manger...Yes now Im really on the hell express.

Mary the Blessed Virgin NEVER gave birth to any other children. Jesus was her only child

James and Judas the twin sons of Alpheus

Mary, the mother of James and Joses, is identified with Mary of Clopas mentioned in John 19:25.

Joses is also identified with Joseph Barsabbas, who in the Acts of the Apostles is mentioned as a candidate to fill the vacancy created by the death Judas Iscariot.

One must remember Jesus also had Apostles by these names

Peace.....Yes, "brothers & sisters" meant of the same clan, community, or close friends.....this was common terminology in those days.....even now we refer to each other as brothers and sisters in Christ while we are not blood-related, but of the same heart and beliefs. (a commonality).....one can marry and yet not have physical relations. There are people who marry today and consider it a companionship - especially if getting on in years or to prevent scandal. Joseph was quite a bit older than Mary. and even though some Bibles say Joseph did not "know" her until after Jesus was born does not necessarily mean intercourse although - it could! "orthros"

Mary did not stay a virgin all her days.
Jesus had half-brothers and sisters.
Galatians 1:19 has Paul talking about a certain experience, in which he says:
"I saw no one else of the apostles, only James the brother of the Lord."
Brother of the lord..

Mary was a virgin and conceived Jesus. Joseph and Mary then had sexual relations as husband and wife and went on to have other children.

That view is not Biblical. Catholics believe Joseph was previously married and the kids were his. Go figure.

The words translated as brother & sister mean his kin.
