Moses comes down after talking to god. He tells the crowd "I have some good news and some bad news." "What would you like to here first?" The crowd says "give us the good news first." So Moses tells them "I got the comandments down to 10." The crowd asks "what is the bad news?" Moses says "adultery is still one of them."

Hey folks.

I thought it might be interesting to ask where the most interesting place it was you ever spent Christmas. I have a friend of a friend who spent Christmas in jail. He said it was interesting, but kind of a sad day. I know another person who spent Christmas volunteering in a war zone.

What's the most interesting place you ever spent Christmas? What made it interesting and did it still feel like Christmas?

Should be interesting to read about people's experiences.

Strangley, people seem to think that Jesus Christ is religious and associate Him with religion. The fact is that is wasnt until nearly 200 years after His Ascention that the 'Christian Church' was formed, reason being that Italian gov. were so afraid of loosing their popularity and 'strength' that they decided to 'play along' to keep the peoples money controlled "The Vatican today'

Yet it was Jesus who went into the temples (of deceit and deception) and told that 'The Fathers House is a House of Prayer, not of money and deceit. Take them out of His House.'

So you see, Jesus isnt part of religion, but rather, a much needed sign (for us) to show us that we are loved and must not concentrate on material things, but spiritual things, if we are to progress as brothers and sisters, helping, sharing and caring for each other.

However you look at it and think of things, we have had so many signs sent to us, to show us that good shines the way, and that we have a part to play. Peace

Someone recently said to me the following line, "The law clearly states that you must do this ..." well, it wasn't too serious :) but never the less a breach of the law.

This really annoys me about life, do people assume that everyone is born with the full law inscribed in there brain. Ok in most cases common sense fills 75% of the book, attacking someone, theft etc.. is all clearly breaking the law, but there's a few that are less obvious and some that no one can possibly expected to know.

After seeing what the holiday season can do to some people, how do you enjoy the holidaze?

Working in retail, I get to see the real negative side of some folks. How parents will scour the earth looking for "That Gift". A small percentage will simply get irate with you if you can't deliver.

They have forgotten what Christmas is all about.

I used to work for K-Mart when the Cabbage Patch Craze, the Glo Worm, Masters of the Universe, Transformers etc, etc. drove customers MAD! For me, Christmas lasted 3 months or longer feeling like I was in a battle zone at times.

What are some of your retail customer horror stories?

How about how you went out of your way to successfully satisfy a customer who was about to go home and cry?

limitations and disharmonies. Do you have a false sense of self that prevents your awakening? How do you accept these "negative" (or even"positive") traits and thus delude yourself as to your true nature? Have you seen only a small portion or many of the traits of your ego that bind you to this delusion? Do you confront them one at a time or tackle them en masse? Is observation enough (will they fall away once identified) or must you continue to actively overcome them? Describe your reactions/emotions when you discover an "ugly" truth about yourself--does it overwhelm and disgust you or do you take it in stride, knowing you are on the path of awakening one step at a time? Are you content to let it happen of its own accord or do you seek instant awakening through brutal means (berating yourself, asking for someone's help who deals harshly with you to "open" you, such as some Zen practitioners do)? Please share from your heart...

Ok, so my parents are split up but they have remained friends. My mom is remarried and he has kids, all older than myself, I'm 21. My dad has had a rough couple years and is in a little bit of a financial bind. Although he opened his own business and things look to sure be better soon. I don't have a lot of money for gifts and I really want to make it special because none of us have money for gifts. I wish I could give them the world but obviously thats a wish. We will pry go to Christmas and do some other fun things but I need some ideas for some meaningful gifts. The ppl that lived in my dads house before us painted his room wild colors and I've thought about painting his room while he's at work a color he'd love. Will it work in the winter in Iowa? Also I want to get my mom, step-dad, 28 yr old brother, and his 22 year old gf gifts. And real ideas would be great. My dad loves everything, my mom and step dad love antiques and are home-bodies. Thanks and Merry Christmas, God Bless!
