This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering ...
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."
He doesnt upset our plans.. it is whatever is in our karmas.

I totally disagree. Man, you are what you wanted to be and you will be the way you want to be. If you are already going through problems, the only way to get out of it is to think positive and tackle all problems with tact and resolution. You should say to yourself that, no matter what, you will get out of it and start a new life afresh. But if you let your problems eat you inside and outside, or you tell yourself that all the problems of the whole world is on your shoulders, then no one, not even God, will come to help you. Remember this: your problems have been created by you only and it is only you who can help yourself get out of this. It is only when you will put efforts together that you will receive the helping hand of the Divine. Thinking negative brings a person to downfall and self-destruction. Don't let negativity absorb you in its web! Start thinking good and right and set your self a target where you want to be in, say, five years. Work hard to go for that objective and don't ever give up because life is full of surprises!

God does not punish people.
Bad things happen to everyone. Some people just get it worse than others. I hate to say it and it sounds harsh but Life isn't fair. Good people seem to be having a bad time while bad people seem to be having a good time.
The only comfort I can give is that the people with a good heart will be eternally rewarded.
Good Luck
God Bless

"More and more injuries, only the injured part of the human body gets!" is true.
But saying that a pereson passing through difficlit times as one being punished by God, is not true!
For example, a minister in his hay days might have accumulated enormous wealth. After he has ceased to be a minister , somebody would drag him into a case for " amassing wealth" and he might be sentenced therefor !
This is what is considered as fruit of "Poorva Karma"( past actions)How could anybody blame God for that.
God wrongs not anyone, but people only wrong themselves!

Not God who is punishing us, it is the fruits of our own actions which we are experiencing. The good you say may be in this life, but they may be reaping the effects of their past lives. The ill effects of bad actions of this or past lives must be lived before we are released and hence good people should bear without grumbling these so that they will be relieved, let them keep on doing good actions so that they do not accumulate action again whose ill effects they have to face in next life also! Spiritual awakening might reduce the ill effects and with God's Grace added, may even totally free us from it too.
If such a scheme of of things is not there, where is the motivation to be good?

Majority of the sufferers w'd agree what U have seen. My own experiance is also the same; but one should not blame GOD. HE SAYS : "Karam Kiye Ja Phal Ki Chinta Mat Kar Ai Insan, Jaise Karam Karega Vaise Phal Dega Bhagwan". If one doesn't compromise, it is seen that he/she suffers more by grooming. Thus, believe in GOD and do the right.

Actually it is not the truth. Others think that God is punishing that person. But he thinks otherwise. Every problem is a test by God and with the problems he think more and more about God and thus he comes closer to God.

god does not punish anybody.
whatever results one gets in life ios because of your own actions.
even if you have been an angel in this life, life does throw up situations in front of you. you react to them, take decisions and get the results.
you may like the results or may not like the results. but that is no reason to blame god.

How do you know their punishment comes from God. Man has been given free will, and God has no need to punish those who are suffering and in anguish.

This is a victim mentality. Blame it on someone else.
One need to take responsibility for their action (karma theory).
everything or everybody will get the results of their action, good or bad.
