The most beneficial religion ever lasted less than a week and never gained respect or popularity.... It's just to bad that all the others didn't follow suit.

Religions are selfish... They take more than they give and none has ever given enough to be considered a benefit to man. What has been developed within the climate of religion was done so in spite of the religion itself.

It's time to retire the gods and the spooks and spirits... Give credit to mankind for man's accomplishments. Both as the past has been and the future will be, all that benefits mankind is exclusively influenced by mankind and mankind alone.

All Religion is manmade, man is bias, will teach his own beliefs (they put bits in, and take bits out to suit themselves) and expect others to follow, and nothing good comes from it, so I have to say None are beneficial, you should live by a good heart, and learn to love fellow humans, that is all that is needed, simple, but true

Religion is not beneficial people are - feelings of altruism and beneficence - actually the people who invented Hinduism invented a great custom called Langam in which the poor people of a region are fed from a community meal prepared by volunteers

At their zenith each of the major religions has brought great good to humanity during their golden ages, uplifting the lives of millions, raising the level of knowledge in science, medicine, math, art, literature, etc. through its support. However, the night of corruption and fragmentation fell, and each religion became corrupted and went into a decline and brought great misery. What we see today in any of the major religions is only a shadow of the grandeur that existed during the time they were fundamentally united. Today sadly all the major world faiths have fragmented into thousands of sects.

Buddhism or Jainism. They're both pretty peaceful religions. Anyone could probably benefit from a lesson in either.

The APostles Doctrine Acts 2:42&44&46 And Paul says if no man brings unto you this gospel that we have preached let him not into your house nor bid him God speed, Meaning telling them Go Bless you, Why should we try to bless something that God has cursed. Paul also said if our Gospel be hid it is hid to them that are lost. That is just as plain as it can get. Now lets see the thumbs down with this truth. & I will see who really have the truth.

Hello sweet (((((((Poppy Pickette AM - VT)))))))

I do not think it would be fair to say, anyone religion has been more beneficial that the other..

All faiths and or thoughts (Atheism)..have brought many different aspects toward helping mankind..whether it be spiritual (Religion)..physical medicine (Atheism)

If we All worked together for the greater good..then there would be a lot less fighting amongst us.. :)

Here's Wishing You All a Very: ~MERRY CHRISTMAS~

lol very good, it would be the Hebrew scriptures.
1. Stay away from blood, as customs in those days, blood is now known to carry disease ,
2. Quarantine the ill, not like in our day, it was written for the ill to stay away (outside the cities ) to not infect others.
this is not practiced today, doctors give pills, and of course, we have somewhat controlled epidemics.
4. Family values, The bible lays out the responsibilities for a family to benefit out of life. (in the new christian Greek), we have kids obey parents, wife is submissive in respect to the husband, the husband ought to treat his wife with love, and dignity as he is responsible to Jesus, who tends to the congregations. Very organized way not to demean anyone, but it makes the family arrangement work.
5. Economics, the bible is very clear in how business transactions ought to take place. Having fair value, for things, and also includes real estate and how property should be given to family members, and so on.
6. Law and Crime Many laws with many parameters, such as a thief (a misdemeanor) has to pay back what he stole, 7 times its value, Murder found guilty, is death, If found innocent or accidental, the bible has cities of refuge.

and these are just a few.

I would have to go with Buddhism, it is the most peaceful and positive religion I'm aware of.

Possibly Jainism, I'm just learning about it, but they knew about the expansion and contraction of the universe and time... and near as I know were not a violent religion.
