The first six according to Matt.24,36

) Many will come in the name of Christ and deceive many (Matt.24,5; Mark 13,6; Luke 21,8)

2) There will be wars and rumours of wars between nations and kingdoms (Matt.24, 6-7; Mark 13,7-8; Luke,21,9-10).

3) The first sorrows will be in the form of calamities: 'famines, pestilences and earthquakes in divers places', fearful sights and great signs from heaven (Matt.24,7-8; Mark, 13,8; Luke 21,11).

4) Orthodox Christians will be delivered up, killed and hated by all nations (Matt. 24,9; Mark 13, 9-11; Luke 21,12-15).

5) Everywhere men will hate and betray each other (Matt.24,10; Mark 13,12-13; Luke 21,16-17).

6) Many false prophets will appear and deceive many (Matt.24,11).

Seems straight forward apart from the Orthodox Christian bit (to me any way)

To anyone who follows a religion. Can you compare the first six with what is happening today?

"Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" was John the Baptist's cry of preparation for Jesus' ministry. Jesus said heaven rejoiced at one sinner's repentance and that churches needed to be zealous about repenting. Peter saw thousands respond to his plea to repent on Pentecost day. Paul said God commands all people everywhere to repent.

The Kingdom of Heaven means peace, joy and love. All three "came down" to Earth the night of Jesus' birth. Everyone who hungers for joy, love and peace hungers for a foretaste of heaven, whether they realise it or not, even irreligious people, for we are all Adam's children, driven out of paradise, longing to regain it. When we see a ray of paradise in others, we are attracted to it. We see that radiated in people with a spirit of adoration, who shine with joy and show forth God's love.

Is it true that only those who repent daily of their sins shine with Heaven's light? Can repentance bring the Kingdom of Heaven down into our lives?

I will never join the Christian faith, or any other for that matter as I have an Individual relationship with The Supreme Being, Big Cheese, God or Allah or whatever name you choose to use.
But many Christians I speak with online promise that I will be saved if I join them and accept the things they spout as truth. My question is what exactly as a dedicated non Christian could I possibly be saved from by following Christian doctrine?
I have a relationship with my God so why is that not good enough for them to accept?

Mark 14:29-30: “Peter said to him, though all else should lose courage this night, before the second rooster-crow, thou wilt thrice disown me.”
Many paragraphs down, Mark writes a bit by bit account of how Peter denied Jesus three times to compatriots.
“Meanwhile, Peter was in the court without, and one of the maid-servants of the high priest came by; she saw Peter warming himself, and said, looking closely at him, thou too wast with Jesus the Nazarene. Thereupon he denied it; I know nothing of it, I do not understand what thou meanest. Then he went out into the porch; and th rooster crew. Again the maid looked at him and said to the bystanders, This is one of them. And again he denied it. Then, a little while afterwards, the bystanders said to Peter, It is certain that thou art one of them; why, thou art a Galilean. And he fell to calling down curses on himself and swearing, I do not know the man you speak of. Then came the second rooster-crow; and Peter remembered the word

Why in the world are questions about Christian beliefs always answered with many different answers. If this truly was a belief system, one would have expected the followers to be like an ant community. They are, however more like sloths; each resting in a different place and having different reasons and sometimes, different beliefs altogether.
There is no CLEAR answer to any question, just nonsensical attempts at theology which appear to have been written by toddlers.
If there really was a God out there waiting for Christians to 'succeed', wouldn't the Christian people have more uniformity and a direction?

I did not choose to be born, and to be born human is automatic sinful creature right? So, I did not choose sin; I had zero choice, no possible choice, none... so why did God decide hell would be a righteous punishment for my non-choice?

So Jesus saved me from my sins? From my non-choice?

I don't think so...go back to original believes even in christian religion and you will see the women had always been treated as lessers to men. It's not just the islamic religion.....its just that islamic religion has not been tranformed like western religion as the women's rights movement progressed. All religions historically has been pro men and anti-women.
