to answer the first part of your question, i refer to
Jeremiah 1:5.
Before i formed thee in the belly i knew you,and before you camest forth from the womb i sanctified you.
We were all create to serve God,but he also gave us free will
so we could make our own minds as to who we will serve..
Genesis 1:1 states in the beginning , God created the heavens and the earth.
later on in the chapter it tells how everything that was made
he made.
it is clearly stated in Joshua that it is our choice whom we
will serve.
Joshua states that as for him and his house they would
serve the lord.
to answer the destiny i refer to Jan 3:16 for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever
believes in him should have everlasting life.
we have a choice as to where our destiny will be,
ROM. 3:23 states that we have all sinned.
it also states in the bible that it is appointed
for every one to die but after this the judgment.
just take a walk through a cemetery and you
will see that people die at all ages.
we have a choice of two places heaven
or hell.
i hope this answers your question.

Mat 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.

Fictional characters know only what writers portray them as knowing.

Did a historical Jesus exist?
http://www.nobeliefs.com/exist.htm
[Excerpt]
ALL CLAIMS OF JESUS DERIVE FROM HEARSAY ACCOUNTS
No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus got written well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources derive from hearsay accounts.
Hearsay means information derived from other people rather than on a witness' own knowledge.
Courts of law do not generally allow hearsay as testimony, and nor does honest modern scholarship. Hearsay provides no proof or good evidence, and therefore, we should dismiss it.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that woever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (17) For God did not send his Son into this world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (18) Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but who ever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew:
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." [Mathew 5:17-20]
Who sent Jesus pbuh?
The Bible mentions the prophetic nature of Jesus (pbuh) mission in the following verses:
(i) "… and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me."[ John 14:24]
(ii) "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent." [The Bible, John 17:3]
