Consider Silly Putty, a Rubix Cube, a Hot-Wheels car, a bottle of Blow Bubbles, a package of Double Bubble Gum, some comic books, and some Tootsie Pops; maybe one of those balsam model airplanes. Pocket knives were also a popular stocking item for young boys.
Most of the above items can be found at Target, K-Mart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Big Lots, or Walgreens.
My ancestry is American Indian, and my mother has made, through the years, a felt stocking resembling an Indian moccasin, for all of her 16 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. The ages of these children range from 49 to two, and each one hangs their stocking and can't wait to find what Santa has left them!

Depending on who you are giving the stocking stuffer you can make little coupons ex. For you Husband/Wife 1 Coupon for a free back rub or 1 Coupon for a Wine & Dine night ex. For Kids 1 Coupon for a day of no chores or 1 Coupon for a pizza and movie night... Happy Holidays!!!

Slinky (or Slinky Jr.), card games such as Uno, and Nerf dart launchers are in the toy aisles at Wal-Mart or Target. Check the Christmas aisles for small gifts such as light-up pens that spin, small packages of Legos, and individual packets of candy. We always include a flashlight (the stocking equivalent of kids playing with the box a gift came in). Just wander the aisles when you are not rushed at a discount retailer or dollar store to see what looks like something your boyfriend would enjoy playing with--- for most guys I would be looking for action items that can be launched, thrown, rolled, etc. or eaten.

Places like the Warehouse, Two dollar shops, even some supermarkets.
I would suggest things like little toy guns, cheesy soft toy santas, toy cars and chocolate.
Stockings are a great idea.

Well if you are older i would suggest making a sexy stocking with some panties and goodies like that haha! If you are still in high school or younger i would say go to the dollar store and fill it with candy & cheapo toys like action figures and and those parachute men!

I HAVE IT!!
I think I just answered this
Try these! Probably best as stocking stuffers or secret santa. They are cheap and don't look it. I used these last year for my class and they were a big hit. Using again this year.

They have a great holiday special going on and their shipping is quick. I just bought a bunch.
