It appears there are alot of people that really don`t look outside of the box, and thats really very sad. You quote the bible , but do you really understand what it all means? You say that if you have those powers then your not a true christian, thats funny couldn`t jesus heal people? I have found alot of selfproclaimed christians to be somewhat hypocritcal. I never claimed to be a christian nor have i ever wanted to be one, I just am what i am.

I am starting to doubt my faith. Just last week I felt so strongly connected with God and everything was great, but now after going to a funeral, I don't know why but I'm starting to doubt if there is a God. I think it might just be because I am confused about life after death and how we got here. Please convince me that there really is a God.

Christians believe atheists are taking the easy way out by not believing in God while atheists believe Christians are taking the easy way out by believing in the supernatural? Is this the cause of elitism on both sides?

Most of you say that you want to get as much out of life as possible & that life is short and you don't want rules or whatever. Anyhow my question is if you gave it thought and thought that you truly don't know the real answer to eternal life or not, wouldn't you just live for God in order to have a great eternal life? I mean, once you've been there a trillion years, you've only just begun. You can't risk that being spent in hell?!

I've prayed for a mate in my life, and I keep bumping into the same guy over and over again, and my heart jumps each time, but I really think about it. Is this the one that God is sending into my life?
He seems like a jerk at times, but I can't help but liking him in my heart. I know it's not right, but your thoughts?

First of all I want to say i'm all about tipping when appropriate. I make sure everybody is well tipped (i.e. waiter/waitress, barber, pizza delivery guy, etc)

There is a "Daily Grind" coffee shop a block from where I work. I usually see a tip jar in front of the cash register. Is it appropriate to tip? I feel I don't have to because they aren't doing anything that requires them to be tipped. Some of my friends say I should tip, but what makes them different than workers at a fast food place. Fast food workers don't get tipped.

God said that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
So than if God does not change , who changed ? it must have been us.
We dont see or experience these things because we dont live as close to God as they lived back then.
Do you believe that we could see these miracles like they seen back in peter and pauls days if we lived like they lived then, and had faith like they did then?

If so do you think him and Jesus have seperate terminals? Do you suppose they would give identical answers to a question without consulting with each other or knowing how the other answered it? Do you think they should be required to sign in periodically like the rest of us do?
