Neither. Jesus never lived in the first place. You can't do something "all over again" that never occurred initially.

False
Jesus never existed "first time round" so he could hardly have been crucified
Why would atheists want to crucify him in the first place? That makes no sense. We don't go round randomly murdering Popes and what not.
Does telling lies about atheists make you feel good inside?
The funny thing is questions like this show exactly what a small minded nasty person you are.

Why would you say that? Someone claiming to be the son of God is no threat to me -- I just flat out wouldn't believe him. If anyone would crucify him, it would be the Christians. Whatever Jesus says when he comes back would be a threat to the legitimacy of every branch of Christianity that doesn't already hold the tenets he lays down. Christians are the most likely to crucify Christ because non-Christians have nothing invested in the idea of Christ.

Why would they. The Romans had him crucified because the Jews demanded it. They demanded it because Jesus was claiming to be God and they couldn't stand for this "blasphemy".
Why would an atheist who doesnt beleive in God crucify someone for claiming to be God?
Also not even secular historians dispute the actual existence of Jesus of Nazereth. There are over 1300 documents that mention his name outside of the bible.

No, actually I think the most conservative Christians would. After all, more of you believe in the death penalty. Also, you seem to have this idea that however you see scripture is the only way to see it. I even know evangelical protestants who say that Catholics aren't Christians! So, if Jesus 2 didn't say exactly what YOU expect her to say (or was the other sex than you expect or looked different) I can imagine you wanting her dead.

If Jesus were alive today, atheists wouldn't crucify him, they would question and test him. If this incarnation of Jesus really was divine, I don't think he would have a problem with proving himself.

False. I am an atheist, but I still have deep respect for Jesus, just as I do for Buddha and Mohammad and the Dalai Lama and Gandhi and Mother Theresa and other respectable people.

Um....the atheists had nothing to do with the account of your messiahs death. The Jews did it becasue the OT told them to kill false prohpets.
That, and it woud probably be the Christians who would crusify jesus, cuz there's a prohpesy of a false messiah before the second coming....therefore theyll think that jesus is the fake...

FALSE!
Jesus was crucified by political freaks who motivated religious zealots to justify their murder of someone who threatened their power.
If the next Messiah comes along, I'm sure history will repeat itself, except this time the religious zealots will be the Christian cults.
Atheists wouldn't be involved because simply they wouldn't bother.

True Atheists wouldn't really care as long as he didn't start pushing people around and telling them what to do, which doesn't seem to have been his style.
No he would have problems with religions calling a false prophet and Anti-theists who are fundamentalists in there own way.
