I am a half-arab half american male, keep in mind I am not trying to generalize this against americans because even some VERY americanized arabs do this...whenever i go to youtube or something...i always see comments like.
1. How only arabs suicide bomb.
-Now there are ****** up arabs in this world...as there are ****** up asians...blacks...whites...catch the drift? Most of the people who accuse us of doing that haven't been to the middle east in the first place.
2."If your arab...wheres your turban?
- Wrong religion people, those are Sikhs that do that...difference: they are darker than us. If you find an arab with a turban other than bin laden...holler at me.
3. We beat our women.
-People in every race beat there women, it is not an "arab thing" it is extremely wrong to do so.... but it happens.
Keep in mind I am not muslim. Nor am i singling out americans. I just want opinions.

ok so today i was in Manhattan with my non-Muslim family (catholics and Jews)....around maghrib time, we were in a nice chinese restaurant eating...there really wasn't any place i could pray, unless i wanted to pray in front of my ENTIRE family...i COULDVE, theoretically, done that...but i wouldd have caused extreme stress among them, and embarrassed them all by doing so. i would be embarrassed and therefore distracted in my prayer...and i most likely would have been interrupted. So i missed maghrib prayer and made qada maghrib prayer when i got home. Was this a legitimate excuse? I dont really see how i couldve prayed.
hahaha to pray Asr, i went into a fancy department store, picked up a random dress, and prayed in the dressing room xD unfortunately i didnt have any such place for maghrib...
would it have been better for me to just have prayed at the restaurant? I really dont see how i could have done that =/
i have had to do this a few times, cuz of no proper place to pray...ugh

and what the New Testament contains? Our Lord commanded his Apostles to teach all things whatsoever He had commanded; (Matt. 28-20); His Church must necessarily teach everything; (John 14-26); however, the Protestant Bible itself teaches that the Bible does not contain all of Our Lord's doctrines

The Protestant Bible expressly states that Christ founded a teaching Church, which existed before any of the New Testament books were written.

It is the goal of If Americans Knew to provide full and accurate information on this critical issue, and on our power – and duty – to bring a resolution.

I am a Greek Orthodox and my girlfriend is Catholic. She's wanted to get married in a Catholic church. So I have a few questions:

~Is it possible for her and I to get married in a Catholic Church?
~Must I convert to Catholic to get married in a Catholic Church?
~Is there ANY way that we can be married without convesion?

Basically, I just want to know how to be able to marry my girlfriend in a Catholic church.

Any help would be appreciated !

Post ice storm which knocked out our electicity for 6 days, put a tree limb thru the roof of the back porch, and took out a couple of trees and a LOT of limbs, I'm looking around and thinking that we may have gotten our porch damaged, but we did need a new roof on it and now the insurance will pay for it: we lost a huge limb from an elm, but now there will be more sun to the herb garden, which really did need it. I found a buffalo roast in the ref freezer, which I had lost track of, and it sure was good, because it was thawed and I had to cook it. I got a lot of yard work done and leaves raked, since I already had a fire going burning fallen branches. All that work kinda got me back in shape after slacking off this fall, lol! Do you look for the silver lining in what could be perceived as disasters?

Seems the over 65 crowds are being prosecuted for shoplifting. Also, assaults by older people rose to 1,700 from 100. They think it is due to isolated older people who do not socialize. Kind of reminds me of that Andy Griffith story about the old man that was trying to get arrested so he could join their Christmas festives. Do you think this is happening in America or other countries?

Once you are committed to Truth, you may be saddened by the loss of those you considered to be friends, but you will no longer need their ego support.
Once you stand up for what is right, you will find that you can reverse the wrong direction your life was taking as the result of going along with the crowd. But you must speak up !
Your life, and theirs, may depend on it.
Are you willing to pays the price for speaking up ?
I think not! , unless you are committed to Truth in your heart; you cannot!

WHAT SAY YOU ALL?
