i want to get them a joint xmas gift. a restaurant gift card is unoriginal, and they dont live together so I can't get them something for their home. any ideas!? thanks

Tickets to a show seem like a good choice. Movies, local arts, or a concert would all be good.

Unless you expect this teenage couple to still be a couple for the lifetime of the gift, a joint gift is not a good idea.

Not sure how old they are but we have a place here that has dinner / movies in one place. You eat your dinner while watching a movie. Something like that for a nice night out would be nice. Or something fun... like a day to a theme park. How about two season passes to a theme park? We have carriage rides downtown here - something historical and romantic?

I make cookies in a jar for my couple friends. It's homemade and not too pricey. I dress the jars up nicely though.

It's something they can do together at one of their homes!
-Or you can give baking that you've done.
-Make or buy matching Christmas tree decorations so that if they end up staying together, they will eventually have matching decorations
-bowling passes (it's actually really fun. And if you have a partner, you could buy passes for you two too.. and go all together. it's something they'll remember)
