I'm American and I'm fully aware of the what goes on. I agree with most of the information, but I do have a few disagreements. There has always been conflict in Israel and Palestine areas. It has been ongoing for several thousand years between different ethnic and religious groups, but the site claims no conflict for 2,000 years. It mentions US aid to Israel and compares it to other countries in the world other than Arab ones. It doesnt mention that Egypt recieves more money from the us yearly than any other country aside from Israel. Is it right? Not entirely. It started only as an easy way to maintain peace between the two. Thats the only reason they receive as much money as they do. I think that Palestinian governments are full of too much corruption and are bent on discrediting or destroying Israel to the point that they are losing focus on providing for its citizens welfare internaly. The website also says "Under considerable pressure from high-placed American Zionists, the UN decided to give away 55 percent of Palestine to a Jewish state". That says to me that either the UN didnt have a spine then, like they have shown recently, or they had the same interests. On the media part. The conflict is reported just fine. Its as accurate as anywhere else. Its the individual person who decides where their support lies, because of their political and religious stance. Politics and religion stur strong emotions whether good or bad. People tend to lean far on those issues instead viewing it somewhere in the middle. America is to blame. But we aren't the only ones. About the site, it sturs alot of interesting points, most true, some not. Its teaches but does not act.

I for one am sick of the Israeli mistreatment of Palestinians and Arabs in general. You must understand that the Jewish lobby in America has influence beyond belief. If you condemn the Israeli's you are labeled an anti-Semite. This will immediately bring up images of the holocaust. The average American will hear something about the holocaust several times a month. What is the name of Stalin's massacres? Or the Kamir rouge in Cambodia? Not to mention Turkey and the Armenians. Most Americans know little or nothing about these atrocities. But the holocaust has been beat into them at an early age. Semite in itself is a name for many Arabs as well as Jews. But most are unaware of this. The Holocaust was a horrible thing, but it wasn't carried out by the Arabs! Why make them pay?
The bottom line is if there were peace between Arabs and Israel our monetary support would dry up real fast. So it is in Israels interest to maintain a certain level of tension.
If it were up to me I would divide the land at the 1948 borders and build a big fence with land mines and armed guards. It is too late for peace, but a situation like North and South Korea may be workable.

Salaam Alaykum,
Way to go Rhonda tell AIPAC to let our Congress go by the Zionist led extremist that we have to pay for...most of the violence is from the Israeli side and what part of There is a genocide in Palestine don't people get... and to the poster if you can't spell Palestine you quoted yourself as kind of an uniformed American. Old Scout. Palestinians are not dogs they are just treated that way by the whole world. The UN always turns a blind eye to Israel's resolution violations and nobody shows up that day for some odd reason. Praise Be to God the Israeli Zionist's are finally since 1948 being exposed for what they have been doing to these people for land, money and greed. Not religion that's an excuse. How can people that were victims of a holocaust turn around and Holocaust another. That I will never understand. I hope so hot dog .Wasalaam

Those Palistinians are rabid dogs and deserve what they get.
By the way, I am still an American, I don't ever plan to change that.
