At my dysfunctional employer, they have put in a position of corporate policeman. I have to see that people are following the rules and report them if they are not. Needless to say I have got alot of enemies but unfortunately I do not know who they are.

My boss pulls me in the office about once a month and tells me he is got all kinds of people complaining about me. I ask him who they are and he will not tell me. He says he is sworn to privacy, so he can continue to get feedback from staff. I then asked him for more details, so I could do better next time. He would not give details because then I could find out who is complaining about me. He just told me to clean up my act.

I can't quit, jobs are hard to find. What should I do?

My best friend somehow always ends up paying for herself. She is broke (a poor Walmart employee saving up for college). She's had to end several relationships b/c they guy kept taking her to restaurants & she finally couldn't afford it anymore.

How did it become common for the woman to pay? I have asked all my guy friends & they all think if a guy never pays for the girl, you are just two friends hanging out & it isn't a date. I know I'd feel quite comfortable explaining that I'd rather go out Tues b/c I like to have my date nights on Fri/Sat. I'd also discuss w/ a guy friend restaurant choices & suggesting much cheaper alternatives.

Women's lib people say you should offer to split it. Being from the south, the guys would blow you off & that would be it. They would pay. But on a first date, if the guy doesn't pay--is it a date? B/c for years that was my way of determining if he was into me. A casual wanna grab food? He just hungry, I paid for mine. A date he paid. Thoughts anyone?

I was in my prayer room weeping and trevailing for the people, the sick, the lost, the body of Christ and the nations. I felt like I was lifted up and shortly after that I smelled a sweet perfume, its nothing that I've smelled before. The fragrance was so fresh and it brought me much peace. The presence of the Lord was heavy in the room with me I can't even begin to explain it. I've had other encounters before but this one was so different. I just can't fathom it. I really felt every minute of the Lord being there with me....

A neighbor showed us a pic he took of our house with a blue heron sitting on the chimney. I've heard several myths/superstitions of what this means and am curious about other beliefs that exist about what this event may predict!

It is VERY easy to simply say that Silva should simply give up the crown as Miss California. However, you would not do so if you were her. She stated that she got mixed messages when she was told that there had been a mix up and miscalculations. Maybe, there should be two Miss Californias because it is all about scholarship monies. What is your take on this fiasco? By the way, do not refer to race , for this is far from a racial issue.

I forgot to wish you a Happy Hanukah yesterday! Since most families that celebrate Christmas have their own personal family traditions, I wondered if you have any particular family traditions for Hanukah, other than the ceremonial aspects.

I guess mine would be sugar cookies, homebaked and decorated... My mom and I used to do that when I was little!

I also like the Jello Poke Cake I make each year, it is really good and easy to make and fun to decorate, I usually pipe on some Holly Leaves and Berries to make it pretty!

Merry Christmas everybody!!!

I was never very good about ignoring people. I always thought it was strange when people work (and sit) inches from each other day after day at the office but manage to completely ignore each other. They view their coworker as someone who is not worthy of their time or attention.

Recently I was forced to share an office with someone in a very small room and she managed to act like I did not even exist. I was always sitting only a foot from her. I always wondered why she would not speak to me and how she was able to completely ignore me and a variety of others she was so close to physically.

How about you?

...the city of Jabesh Gilead for its virgin women?

Judges 21

"'This is what you are to do,' they said. 'Kill every male and every woman who is not a virgin.' They found among the people living in Jabesh Gilead four hundred young women who had never slept with a man, and they took them to the camp at Shiloh in Canaan."

mitt romney joining the republican nomination race has opened some interesting questions about the us' young democracy.

since ronald reagan decided to involve christian fundamentalists more closely with the republican party during the 1980s the gop has had a headstart in every election it comes to.

do you think the republicans' core of religiously-motivated voters will realise that mitt isn't really one of them, and stay away from the hustings if he is chosen; or do you think that they are ready to take an ecumenical ticket?

I know this may sound a little harsh but if this is done, then maybe they won't fritter away their wages and will pay their rent, on time and in full, especially if they see others being punished. I do have sympathy with some of these types as it must be very hard knowing that when they leave work at the end of the day they haven't a home to go to. but they really have nobody else to blame but themselves. I think a short, sharp, shock would be considered tough love.
