Definitely. If I go about my day with no song, often it means I am feeling none of that divine love in my heart. When I am always singing (provided I am singing as a kind of prayer, and not just for show) then God's Spirit is always with me.
The Lord said, through our prophet: "The song of the heart is a prayer unto me."
Singing is how I always retain God in my consciousness.

Music is one of the keys into the human emotion and feelings. It also helps to manipulate and lead in certain respects. Ever been to a restaurant and they play a little faster music during the dinner rush? So because of this, Music can really have a major impact on the things you may think and even do because you get the tune and beat in your head remember lyrics and then can actually play out what is going through your mind. The link here is also that fact that God deserves our Praises and devotion. Music can have a big impact on whether we are constantly thinking about Him or not. Lucifer was an Archangel but it is noted that he was also to be the praiseing angel and had influence over music. That can explain a lot of reasons why some people do what they do because of the things that they have been thinking of, re-running a particular song in their head.
God Bless

In fact, music germinates from spirituality. The human heart has numerous feelings, both good and bad. The music either signifies or reduces intensity of the feeling.
You must have heard of Tandava dance of Shiva, Raas lila songs of Krushna, bhajans of Mira, shehnai on marriages, sarangi on death, and so on...
Now, talking about spirituality. The most basic aspect of spirituality is to realize yourself, improve and raise thy soul.
You must have heard a bell. Have you ever thought that a bell is made up of brass or bronze, having a particular shape has not changed it's design through ages. From big ben of London, Giant bell of russia and many others round the globe are all same. This is because the sound produced takes you to world. The sound teaches you silence. The result is so perfect, it was never modified.
try recital of OhM & u will realize the enhencing effect of music.

Music or even devotional songs sung well can put u in a sate of bliss.
I am a Hindu but when I hear Early morning Namaz (with a good voice--not just too loud and blaring out) I feel the same emotions. My family is convinced that I was Muslim in my last birth.

I'm not sure about spirituality at all times with music. But it touches me, moves me, heals me. Sometimes I have a song I will listen to over and over. Sometimes it's because I need to "get it out of my system" so to speak, or become immune to the feeling. Whatever the reason, you will more than likely find me plugged in as much as possible.

Music is a vibration. Vibration is a energy. Energy is ability to do work. Work is felt when we see the change. Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed, it can only be transformed from one form to another.
Energy is required to invoke the higher self inside. We are in general inclined to lower self. Music if properly administered can invoke the higer self in us.
All our scriptures Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata etc all are written in poetry format which directly implies they are vibrations which can be felt , enjoied and can give Bagavad Dharshan.
Well I hope I have been helpful to u with this answer.

According to the Ancient Vedas which are the original "How to" books given by God (also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc. at the time of creation. In the spiritual kingdom of God (every word is a song and every step is a dance. The Bhagavad Gita is the Song of God sang in Sanskrit by Lord Krishna Himself (God) Singing and dancing is our very nature. It is an essential part of Bhakti Yoga (offering all of ones activities, talents, work, words etc. in the loving devotional service to God. In this way our life becomes perfect and we understand who we are in reality beyond this material world. I love it. I love the Bhajans,(Musical singing and glorification of Gods holy names.) and Kirtan (Congregational singing and chanting of the Holy names. I love this process. you can get the music Cd's on Krsihnaculture.com Totally enlivening music of all styles.

Depends on the definition of "spirituality".
If you mean it in the "getting in touch with some spooky invisible being", then no. I don't have any belief in "spirits", so I have no relation to them, no matter what music I'm listening to.
If you mean it in the more general sense of a feeling of awe or as a means to meditate, then, yes, music helps get that feeling and helps me relax.

Absolutely! Music can lift us up or drag us down. I have some American Indian CDs which help me meditate and though I am no longer a Christian, there are still some old hymns and tunes from my childhood that lift my spirit.
